You will be guided in the valley of the kings to see the magnificent tombs of the pharos.

3. Colossi of Memnon
Their singing and twittering filled the sky centuries ago until their voices stopped due to renovation works done by Roman Emperor Septimius Severus (193-211). Known as the singing statues or “The Vocal Memnon”, the Colossi of Memnon are two great seated stone statues representing King Amenhotep III, according to prominent historian and author Bassam El Shamaa’. Decorated with imagery of his mother, his wife, and the God Hapi, the statues are 18 meters high and 720 tons each, and both are carved from single blocks of sandstone.
4. Luxor Temple
Luxor Temple remains the most impressive of the temples in ancient Egypt due to its simplicity. It has a unique orientation for an Egyptian Temple. It counts among its enclosures, 3 kinds of religion, The Ancient Egyptian religion, Christianity and Islam. Luxor temple locates to the east bank of the river Nile, alongside and parallel to The Nile. It is regarded as a cult temple dedicated mainly to the Triads of Thebes “Amon-re, Mut and Khonsu. The temple was founded by Amenhotep III (1390-1352 Bc), and augmented by successive kings, including Ramses II and Alexander the Great. The Sphinx Avenue between Karnak temple and Luxor temple was to serve the professional way of the opet Festival from Karnak to Luxor temple and to determine the land road to the entrance of the temple. It is composed of 2 rows of human-headed sphinxes, each is carved from a single block of sandstone and placed on a rectangular base.

In 2019 I had the same tour with my brother. In 2023 I came back to Luxor and had to do it again with a friend of mine. The full day tour with Daniel the guide is worth every penny, as he covers everything you need to know or you want know. Included is are entrance fees, lunch, water and even a boat trip.

On our full day tour we visited Valey of the Kings, Medinet Habu or Habu Temple and Karnak Temple. But you can also vary and chose the Temple of Hatshepsut or Luxor Temple. There is so much to so, you better book two full days with Daniel.

Daniel did a very nice, well organised tour of the main sightseeing points in Luxor. He is very well read and knowledgable regarding the topics of ancient egypt and also very nice and easy to be around. We will surely choose him again! The chosen restaurants were delicous and offered a great variety of food, also the driver was always on time and provided a clean and safe ride! Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful personalized experience, our tour guide Nermeen was outstanding, she was patient and accommodating. She knew exactly where to take us, the lunch spot she took us too was phenomenal she gave us plenty of history facts to make our experience even more wonderful. I highly recommend this tour

I more than enjoyed the two days. Timing, guidance and the personal support were incredible.
First day: all the sights in Luxor.
Day 2: Valley of the Kings and the temples on the west bank.

Exceptional tour with an exception egyptologist! Daniel was so knoweldgeable about everything Egypt. The historical information and backgrund really did make the trip to all the temples. Daniel's english was exceptional and he said he knows other languages as well. This really is the Luxor tour to choose! Thank you, for a spectacular time!
