Absolutely worth doing, it was really interesting talking to a former IRA member who told us all about his experiences growing up in the Falls area of Belfast and gave his perspective on things. He was courteous and respectful of the fact that not everybody would see Northern Ireland's place in the UK in the same way he did and encouraged discussion about this. It was quite a moment walking through the peace gates and into the loyalist community. I do recommend looking at the murals in Shankhill and Eastern Belfast too to see the other side.

Our guide Joe gave us a private tour through Belfast that turned out to be the highlight of our visit to Northern Ireland. Very impressive stories and anekdotes from an eye witness and a great story teller. Highly recommend this tour to any visitors to Belfast. Thanks Joe!

This tour and tour guide was phenomenal. He taught us a lot about the events and history that have led to conflicts and ‘the wall’ in the area. His demeanor and organization were really engaging. He lived through many of the events central to the murals/etc, so he also gave first hand accounts. Great guy. I left impacted by the tour.

I have been on many walking tours over the years in many countries and I have to say this was just the most insightful and heartfelt tour we have ever been on as a family. Our guide completely helped us to immerse into a moment in complicated history, helping to dispel myths and misinformation often reported in the media. We are so grateful and have booked on another tour in the summer with additional family members.

This was an experience we will never forget, to say this was an education in history wouldn't do it justice, Our guide Liam intertwined world history, The Troubles, his own first hand accounts into a mind blowing experience.
Questions were answered for real, no holds barred... This IS a must do in Belfast.
