It was a very long day but it was a wonderful tour. My only complaint was the bus ride back was crowded.

Of course seeing Machu Piccu was absolutely incredible!! Nothing could have hampered the experience. The weather was perfect.
The entire day was unnecessarily drawn out. First it took forever to get our itinerary. We ended up waiting for the person to show up for about 3 hours. I was worried they weren’t going to come at all. We were picked up as promised at 4am...ride to the train station was good. We were an hour early for the train so we had to wait. When we arrived at Machu Piccu base , we had to wait another 2 hours before we boarded the bus. Everything was great for the tour however, we had to wait until 8 pm for our train. We got back to Machu Piccu base by 3pm. That’s a long time to wait around in a small town. It was excessive for sure. Our van home was packed and rickety. After a 16 hr day...it was not a great way to end it.
