Dendara and Abydos Temples Day Tour from Luxor

We started the day at 8 am and ended at 5 pm with a patient and knowledgeable guide. There were not a lot of tourists in Dendara and Abydos, which made the experience more pleasant and enjoyable.

The car was in very good condition, the driver and the guide (Ahmed and Abdul) were very nice and professional, the food was good enough (beverages were not incluided: 25 for water, 50 for coffee, served by a nice family).
Both temples were amazing, specially Abydos, absolutely magical. Totally recommended

Great experience. The driver and the guide were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Fully enjoyed my time and learned a lot of new things about Ancient Egypt.

All was perfect. Good chauffeur, knowledgable guide, tasty lunch with locals, lots of free cookies, water and juice and enough time to thoroughly see everything that there is to see at both sites. Higly recommand this daytrip with Emo tours.

These 2 temples are definitely off of the beaten path. That means less crowded and gorgeous. I loved them! I looked out the window and listened to a book during the drive and barely noticed how long it took. Lunch was very local and delicious.

Our guide Sam made the day for us. His interesting stories information and knowledge managed to make this tour a great success. He not only hared a great deal of information but also gave time for taking photos and time to feel the spots by ourselves after giving his valuable information. A private tour must be like that.

The two temples themselves were utterly amazing..beyond words at the preserved colour around and the history. They were worth seeing.

The guide was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything throughout. Both were kind and offered us some breakfast.
The drive though long was beautiful and we got to see interesting sights along the way. We loved that there were hardly any tourists

At the beginning of the tour our guides tried to recommend us not going to the places planned due to the long drive then asking and recommending going else where instead. we had the impression they didn't want to go. Though on the tour they were very good offering places to eat for after.

Heads up: Tipping people throughout the temples is expected and you can pay extra to see the catacombs which we really enjoyed doing

We went with tour guide and driver only option. It was 2 hours drive to Dendara from East bank, temple itself was beautiful, we changed our 2nd destination to Temple of Habu at West Bank as per guides suggestion because it takes 3 hours to drive to Abydos temple and both of us were tired from previous days of intense Nile cruise activities in high heat (43 Celsius on average). I personally think Dendara is really worth the trip. Guide Hamid was very nice, brought us to local coffee store (he paid for the coffee), took us to supermarket to purchase what we wanted and even went to Egypt Air office to help us sort out issue. I also heard from local Emo tour is a reputable travel company in Egypt.

If you cannot go to one destination , you should substitute well .

Otherwise , I just fell I don’t want to use it again
