The tour in Syracuse-Ortigia-Noto is a comfortable tour suitable for those who like to relax in the name of culture. Organized for small groups, it gives the possibility to see more locations on the same day.

Overpriced for what it was, considering you then have to pay 16,50€ entrance for the neapolis and 20€ for the boat trip (which was the best part but we saw it advertised elsewhere for 10€). We were left with very little time in Ortigia which was a shame as that was the main reason we took the trip.
The driver drove way too fast, mostly over 140km/h and ignored requests from other passengers to slow down. If you want to kill yourself then fine, but if your job involves being responsible for the safety of paying passengers, then you need to respect that.
Save your money and take the train, cheaper and safer.

I visited Catania, Siracusa, Ortegia, Noto and Ragusa all in under 48 hours. Excellent flight times and trains allowed me to move around without wasting time and I loved it. I also ate on the go which saves loads of time. Google up images of these places - stunning baroque architecture, land and seaviews as well as new food (for me). I had time to enter some of the churches and witnessed a wedding at the Noto cathedral! Prepare for uphill walks in Ragusa but itwas stunning! Ortigia is fab and so is Catania. I used Siracusa as my base with 2 overnight stays and visited the archeological park, too. Next time I'll try the west coast of Sicily.
