Xkopek is a unique place in Valladolid where you will find a magnificent dry cenote, where you can meet several species of native bees, bees without stings, bees that were very important for the Mayan culture. Xkopek is a project of a family of Mayan beekeepers that seeks to raise awareness about the care of bees and the rescue of Mayan culture and traditions.

Great green oasis only just outside Vallodolid centre. Great tour with the tastiest honey ever! Super happy with this place that offers guest houses and camp sites too.

Fascinating! Eduardo is an excellent guide! We enjoyed the tour and learned a great deal. I particularly enjoyed seeing the dry cenote and the glass-sided boxes which showed how different the hives were inside. Tasting the varieties of honey was a great way to end.

We went on the bee tour, Javier our guide was very professional and attentive at all times. You had the opportunity to learn a little more about the different species of bees that are in the area, learn about their habitat, a little history, as well as acquire top quality products made with honey and wake up, uffff, a cool one with its handmade tortillas along with with ha-Sokol-p'aak, a regional food made from seeds, tomatoes, habanero chili, cilantro, garlic, chives.

It is a new panorama, seeing the conservation of nature, bees in their natural habitat, everyone very friendly and professional, clarifying our doubts. The tortilla tasting is incredible. Furthermore, during the tour you can appreciate the diversity of flora and fauna that live there.
