Full-day excursion in which we will travel through Huelva to know the last steps of Columbus before leaving for the first time in search of the new route of the Indies, in which he ran into the new continent, completely changing the way of life of Old Europe.
During the tour we will visit the Muelle de las Carabelas, where are the replicas of the 3 ships that departed on Columbus's first voyage. In addition to the replicas of the ships, its main tourist attraction, the Muelle de las Carabelas Museum has an interpretation center, the medieval quarter (recreated around the dock) and the Isla del Encuentro, in which an attempt has been made to recreate the indigenous culture of the Island of Guanahani, the first island on which Christopher Columbus landed on October 12, 1492, which he named as San Salvador.
Later we will move to the Monastery of Santa María de la Rábida, where Christopher Columbus stayed and he prepare the trip from where it started

We were surprised that we had a private tour, just us and our guide Salvador. He was amazing. He knew so much about the area and Christopher Columbus. Our tour was November 1 so some things like museums were closed but Salvador added other stops to make up for it. He was so polite and truly wanted us to have an amazing adventure. Our best day in Spain (and the rest set the bar high).
