My sailing tour in Catania

We stumbled across the offer on one internet forum, almost by accident. We are happy we managed to book a day trip on the sailing boat. First of all, the skipper Bruno and his son were incredibly nice and accomodating throughout the trip. The ship was large and stable and the sailing smooth. We did several stops to swim around the boat, through the caves and around rocks. Bruno was giving us really thorough information about what is where on the coastline, venturing knowledgeably even into impact Etna was having on the coast.
Being frequent client for renting boats in the Med, what surprised me was the value for money which is nowhere near the prices in Tuscany or Provence. We were two adults and two teens and paid just EUR 90 per person, including lovely two course lunch of pasta with tuna and fish. On top we got prosecco and a big bowl of local fruits.
I don’t give 5* very often but this experience was spotless.

This has by far been my favorite experience I’ve had in Italy so far. It was truly wonderful to see the beauty of Etna from the sea. We also had the chance to go snorkeling, which was nearly just as beautiful.

However, it was Bruno’s contagious delight and willingness to answer all of my sailing questions😅 that made the experience so worthwhile. From sharing sailing knowledge to Sicily’s best granita spot to songs I should shamelessly know in Italian, Bruno was the best guide we could have asked for.

Fantastic experience. Very professional and friendly boat owner. We sailed for several hours and also had a few sea baths from the boat. Highly recommended.

Great time sailing. Bruno was even better than his good reviews. Enjoyed his conversation and history commentary. Boat was comfortable and food was delicious. Very relaxing

Very good experience. A lot of explanations about what we have seen during the trip, very pleasant guide, beautiful landscapes and many pieces of advice of what to do in Catane.
I warmly recommend !

My daughter and I took the sailing trip with Bruno as our skipper. Wow! It was fantastic. He gave us options on where we could go and what we would see. Our Sicilian lunch and appetizers were fantastic followed with some wonderful local fruit. He was well versed and such fun. Such a great day, would 100% recommend.

Me and my girlfriend took the sailing trip past aci Costello and found it a great experience. We also ate food on the boat once we took a stop off to swim in the sea and it was really good to try some Sicilian foods and fruit. The skipper we had on our sail was called bruno and we couldn't have been happier with him. He was extremely friendly, polite and consensus. He also had a lot of knowledge along the journey which was really interesting to learn. Couldn't recommend more and would also suggest asking if you could have bruno as your skipper for the sail.

Wd had a lovely sailing tour, thanks to Bruno and Stefano! They told us a lot about sicily in general and catania, gave us some tips in where to go and Bruno made us some amazing fresh food! We sunbathed, went swimming, teied the best granités. Thank you guys, would totally recommend

My husband and I traveled to Catania with friends of ours and knew we had to spend some time on the water. After looking online we could My Personal Tour sailing and I am so glad we did! Bruno was an amazing captain and host. He picked us up promptly from our Airbnb and was very friendly. The boat was spacious and in pristine condition. To top off the beautiful scenery and relaxing vibes of being on the water Bruno provided a delicious lunch! We all loved the swordfish rolls. None of us have had them before and it was an awesome new food find! Bruno was very accommodating to what we wanted to do whether it was stopping to swim or just sailing. The day was so amazing and memorable that my husband and I booked to go back out with Bruno the next day! Our friends were flying home so we decided to enjoy another relaxing day on the water. Bruno took as along the coast where we got to see exciting landmarks from the sea. He also provided a delicious lunch again! I would recommend this tour to anyone as it will become the most memorable part of the trip!
