We will visit a volcanic cave, a lava tube and I will share the rich geological history of Mount Etna with the breathtaking view of the Valle del Bove.

Saro is an amazing tour guide. Very knowledgeable and passionate about his island and his volcano. We learned a great deal and have a better understanding of what living in the shadow of an active volcano is like. We enjoyed the hiking, lava tube (cave) and short stop for samples and lunch from a local farm. Wear good hiking shoes, no sandals! Thanks, Saro, for a great experience!

Saro is an excellent guide and I highly recommend this tour! Saro’s passion for Etna and Sicily is contagious and he has so much knowledge - all shared with warmth and humour. The opportunity to taste the local beverages and food at a local farm was a lovely bonus and we have many fond memories of that day. A real highlight of our trip to Sicily. Worth every penny!

Saro is the best tour leader I've experienced. He's exceptionally knowledgeable and personable. The tour was a lot of fun and very educational. We were originally scheduled to take the tour on a day when the weather would be unfavorable. Saro contacted us in advance to see if we could move the tour date up by a day, which fortunately we could. I'm very glad Saro ensured that we could have this memorable day.

Our guide (Saro) gave us a day with interesting details of not only Etna, but also Sicily in general. So even if the weather was windy, wet and cold we enjoyed the time. We can highly recommend him as your guide.

We highly recommend the Etna tour with Saro Trovato. His English is excellent. He knows his volcano and his region very well. He knows the history, geology and culture of the local people. The visits and hikes are obviously magnificent. But what we appreciated above all were all the stories he told with passion. We feel his love for this magical volcano and for its region. I could not recommend this tour enough. Everything was perfect - from the information given, to the sights you see and the way in which Saro conducted the enitre tour with such passion and wit. As a bonus we stopped at a farm, which is owned by two of his friends, where we could try some local products.

Absolutely awesome tour! Don't even think about it - DO IT! Saro was fantastic and made our day extra special. He is so passionate about what he does. He is very knowledgable about Etna and is a great ambassador for Sicily. Would recommend this 4 x 4 trip to everyone! Saro, thank you for making our day the most memorable one in Sicily. A definite highlight that we will never forget!

We were family of 8 people and we had one of the best days ever.
Saro and his mate Augusto took us for a tour of Etna.
Immediately you can feel the love these 2 guys have for what they do and for THEIR Sicily and Mama Etna. Knowledgeable, fluent and fun to be around. We had a day of 4 seasons of weather, amazing stories and many tips for onward journeys. Saro and Augusto made our day at Etna amazing!!!!!!
Highly recommended, we will meet again.

Discovering Etna through the eyes of Saro is an exciting adventure and a magical sceneries in sunny Sicily.
