The day started early with Saro picking us up from our hotel. His passion and knowledge for Etna is immense and his great sense of humour broke the ice very quickly.
It was such an enjoyable experience, Etna is indeed magnificent and Saro went to great lengths to accomodate us.

Cannot recommend Saro enough! We had one of the best times and definitely a very memorable day with Saro hiking on Etna in over 30 degrees heat. He has made the difficult hike in the heat a one in a lifetime experience. We will definitely try to do it again and this time we are going to do the summit. Thank you Saro!:)

We did a trekking tour of etna with Saro with our 2 kids. We all had a wonderful time and learnt a lot about Etna and Sicily. Saro was super helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Highly recommended !

Words can not truly describe how breathtaking and wonderful this trip was I know I will remember this experience for the rest of my life
They are two of the most experienced and knowledgeable guides I have ever had the pleasure of meeting
They made me fall in love with Sicily and most importantly mumma Etna
The trip was so special it made me sad to leave and makes me want to go back to mumma Etna with them again which I definitely will do
If you ever consider going to mumma Etna I would not even consider going with anyone else

The experience at Etna was perfect and one of a kind with such an amazing guide!Through Saro we learned lot's of new stuff about Catania and Etna!He was very friendly,chatty and helpful.He showed us Etna and some volcano craters, after that took us to Taormina and recommended us some places and restaurants.Such a helpful and entertaining guide!
First time seeing someone this good!

We highly recommend this tour with Saro. He is very passionate, knowledgeable and made our trip so much fun! We learnt a great deal about Mt Etna, Catania. He took us through the lava tubes which was awesome! We felt safe and Saro has excellent English and a great sense of humour. We finished off with a beautiful lunch at a family winery. We were excited for this tour, because we love Italy and love adventure. We had a basic idea of what to expect and trusted the guide to give us a basic safe experience. What we walked away with was so much more! It truly was a magical once in a lifetime experience. The beautiful scenery, the exhilarating experience of the lava tube, the professional, and abundant information shared, the comfort of his vehicle and worth mentioning are his really considerate and conscientious driving skills, which is important on those littl rugged roads. But mostly it was Saro that made the experience magical. Yes, magical!! It is so obvious he is passionate about what he does, and enjoys every minute of it. My sister and I were traveling alone which can feel daunting at times, but not with Saro.
His great ease of conversation, his non-threatening way of communicating and his dedication to your having a safe yet exciting experience. Do not skip the wine tour. That was the highlight of my entire two week Italy trip. We started out as tourists and ended up leaving FRIENDS with Saro. Those are the experiences / feelings that you remember forever!! Thank you so much Saro we can’t wait to see you again!!

Best guide, best tour! Saro was fantastic. I had a private tour of hiking Mt. Etna, but it was more than just a hike. I learned so much history, geology, random facts, etc. I didn’t bring shoes, but Saro was able to provide anything I forgot - grateful for that! Not only did I gain amazing new memories, but also a new friend that I can’t wait to visit again in Catania.
It was a cloudy day, so pictures don’t do it justice, but it was truly one of the most beautiful days.
