After arriving in Tbilisi, this tour is the perfect thing to start your holiday. We are glad to give you the first impression of our capital city and give you many recommendations which will inspire you for the next few days. We start the walk from the Rose Revolution Square and go through Rustaveli avenue. We see Tbilisi's most important and magnificent buildings, visit the heart of the city, and walk down to the old town, which is one of the hottest rising destinations for travelers in recent years. There's not enough space in this paragraph to describe all the important sites of Old City, but when you are with our friendly and knowledgeable guides, you can feel like you have a live google with you. 1. Rose Revolution Square
We meet you at 7:00AM or 06:00pm according to your booking time. Our meeting point is Rose revolution square, which is in front of the hotel Radisson.
2. Rustaveli Avenue
If you go to Paris, you simply must stroll the Champs Elysees and when you visit Tbilisi, this is the one avenue that has to explore. We explore the most important and magnificent buildings of Tbilisi as well as a lot of hotels, restaurants, cafes, and souvenirs.
3. Freedom Monument
We reach the main square of Georgia-Liberty square, which is at the heart of Tbilisi.
4. Rezo Gabriadze Marionette Theater
In 2010 Rezo Gabriadze built a unique clock tower next to the marionette theatre in Tbilisi's old town. Every hour an angel comes out with a small hammer to ring the bell. There is a small puppet theatre inside the tower, and twice a day, at 12:00 and 19:00, you can see a show – “The Circle of Life.” Rezo decorated the tower with hundreds of tiles, which he designed himself, and then it instantly became a prominent architectural attraction of Tbilisi. People often call it the Tower with a clock or The Tower with the angel.
5. The Bridge of Peace
Bridge of Peace is the attraction one wouldn’t want to miss in Tbilisi. A pedestrian glass and steel bridge in a bow-shaped design sit over the Mtkvari (Kura) river in the Georgian capital. It was officially opened in May 2010. The bridge was brought to Georgia from Italy in 200 unassembled components. The bridge is 156 meters long and has more than 10 000 LED bulbs built-in that are switched on daily 90 minutes before the sunset.
6. Rike Park
Rike park is considered to be the youngest recreational area in Tbilisi. It is situated on the left bank of the river Kura (Mtkvari) and has already become a popular place for both local and international visitors, especially families, and in summer. The Rike park is relatively easy to find, as its main entrance is right from the beautiful pedestrian ‘Bridge of Peace.’ The park hosts numerous entertainment facilities like singing and dancing fountains, artificial climbing walls, children’s maze, mega-chess boards, footpaths, and quiet corners.
7. Monument of King Vakhtang Gorgasali
Vakhtang I Gorgasali, of the Chosroid dynasty, was a king of Iberia, natively known as Kartli, in the second half of the 5th and first quarter of the 6th century. Dating Vakhtang's reign is problematic. With the alliance to the Byzantine Empire, he led his people into a lengthy struggle against Sasanian Iranian hegemony, which ended in Vakhtang's defeat and the weakening of the kingdom of Iberia. Tradition also ascribes his reorganization of the Georgian Orthodox Church and the foundation of Tbilisi, Georgia's modern capital. Ivane Javakhishvili assigns to Vakhtang's rule the dates c. 449–502,
8. Metekhi Cathedral
Virgin Mary Metekhi church is located on the left bank of the river Mtkvari, on the cliff plateau. The first church on this place was probably built by Vakhtang Gorgasali, symbolically resembling the church built on virgin Mary’s tomb in Gethsemane garden in Jerusalem. According to the legend, the former catholicos Kirion transferred the saint Shushanik to this church in the 7th century.

The “Abanotubani” is the name given to the district in the Old Town of Tbilisi. There is a whole street (Abanos Kucha) of public bathhouses that use the sulfurous waters of the many hot springs in this area.
10. Chreli Abano Spa
Chreli Abano is a place for a sulfur bath that is so popular among tourists and Georgians. The site looks like a mosque, but it's a sulfur bath, nice to visit and have fun.

12. Narikala Fortress
Narikala fortress is the most known landmark of Tbilisi. No one leaves Tbilisi without walking around this impressive fortress. You can feel the history of Tbilisi, even though the walls are not in great shape. During the day, the Narikala Fortress draws your attention from all sides of Tbilisi. It overlooks Mtkvari River, which makes Narikala more incredible. Narikala is one of the most visited places in Tbilisi.
13. Kartlis Deda
Kartlis Deda (Mother of a Georgian), erroneously known as Kartlis Deda, is a monument in Georgia’s capital Tbilisi, which has become a city symbol. The statue was erected on the top of Sololaki hill in 1958, the year Tbilisi celebrated its 1500th anniversary. Prominent Georgian sculptor Elguja Amashukeli designed the twenty-meter aluminum figure of a woman in a Georgian national dress. She symbolizes the Georgian national character: in her left hand, she holds a bowl of wine to greet those who come as friends, and in her right hand is a sword for those who come as enemies.
14. Old Town (Altstadt) Tbilisi
Marvel at the narrow streets and wooden balconies of the Old town.
15. Shardeni Street
Shardeni Street is one of the most popular and beautiful streets in Tbilisi. This pedestrian street is so well known that any guest that travels to Georgia never leaves this country without visiting Shardeni Street.

Fantastic tour for first-time visitors to Tbilisi. You’ll learn about the history of the country and the city through a relaxed walk along the streets of Tbilisi. Our guide, Makuna, was very friendly and knowledgeable. The perfect ending to the tour was the wine tasting. Highly recommended.

Our friend Givi, the tour guide for today, A really nice guy. He was so energetic and make me enjoy a lot. I spend one of my best days in georgia and all thanks to the guy and his company "Budget Friendly Tours". It was a very well paced walking tour where we were treated like friends and every traveler was also friendly towards each other.
For me, having gone through the streets around the clock tower & peace bridge before, it brought me out of that area and allowed me to get a sense of the wider scope of the city centre area, and helped me learn the history of the sites all around the city. It was a very enjoyable tour, especially as our guide has such a positive vibe and upbeat energy, gave us an intro to how Georgian people like to engage with other people and offered to give us tips and even helped make calls for reservations; and when the golden hour hit, we happened to be walking over the Peace Bridge, the city looked glorious. I loved the wine tasting too, and liked Pomegranate the best. ☺️🫰🏼 Highly recommended of it's your first time in the city and don't feel like doing a full-day tour, this is such a great option that takes place at the Best time of the day when it's not hot.

Our first evening in tblisi and we couldn't have asked for a better orientation! Our guide Makuna was charming and well informed and so very helpful. We walked at our pace and got some fab photos. Evening ended with a wine tasting session! So worth it

It was an amazing day trip in Tbilisi. I would highly recommend it as a first tour you do in order to get familiar with the places that you might consider visiting later during your stay in Tbilisi. The tour crew Nicholas, Nino and Russia who were really humble with a good sense of humor and ready to answer any of your questions or needs.

Our tour started at 6 PM and ended somewhere around 9:45 PM. We had some good time with the multi nationality group, who added a value to the tour.

Our evening city walk and free wine group tour in Tbilisi was an absolute delight! Guided by the wonderful Nina and Nicholas, our group stayed upbeat and connected throughout. Nina's knack for clicking candid pictures added an extra touch of fun to our stroll through the city streets.

The wine tour was a highlight of our trip, offering us a deeper understanding of Georgian wines and helping us find our perfect match. It was a joy to sample and learn about the rich wine culture firsthand.
