We had such a great time with Marianna and her mother! The farm and outdoor kitchen stunning and sets the perfect atmosphere. We learned not just how to cook some of our favourite (and new) Cretan dishes but also learned about Cretan history and culture. They are great and welcoming hosts that made us feel very at home and the meal we cooked together was delicious! There were so many leftovers that we took some back to share with our Cretan friend and he was very impressed!

It was the best cooking experience my boyfriend and I ever had!
Marianna and Mama Stella were so lovely to the whole group. She told us interesting facts about any dish and how to do it and also took us in their garden to show us fresh vegetable, that we‘ve harvested.
Marianna and Mama Stella know how to prepare cooking classes and also were able to adapt on allergies or diets.
If you‘re in Crete you should definately book one class if you want traditional and authentic greek food!
We‘ll come again.

We are two adults and two teenage daughters. We love taking cooking classes in the places we travel to, and Cretan Vibes was among the very best of our many experiences. The hosts were warm, funny, and excellent at teaching cooking. The surroundings are picturesque as heck - cooking outdoors in the middle of a working farm, on the island of Crete! They knew where every ingredient came from and we were astonished by the flavors that we could achieve with only fresh ingredients plus a little salt. To cap it off their dogs just had a litter of pups…and who doesn’t like playing with pups? We only wished that we could have gotten the recipes afterwards. Thank you so much ladies for this lovely experience.

This was definitely a highlight in our trip. If you’re near Heraklion, I highly recommend taking this class if you like to cook. Our hosts were excellent and delivered the class very well. We cooked so much delicious food!

My husband and I had a absolutely wonderful experience at Marianna's cooking class. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcomed by Marianna, her mother, and her grandmother. The warmth and hospitality they showed us made the evening truly special.
The cooking instructions were clear and engaging, and we learned so much that we can't wait to try out at home. Marianna and her family shared not only their recipes but also their love and passion for cooking, which made the class even more enjoyable.

If you’re on the fence… trust me, DO THIS EXPERIENCE! I felt like I went to my favorite family members’ home and enjoyed the best things we all enjoy in life as humans—great company and great food. The atmosphere, facilities, the teachers, the food—alllllll LOVE. I have the best memory of learning about native foods, cooking, laughing, trying new things and being impressed by the simpleness and yet, extravagance of it all. I mean—olive oil from these groves?! Honey from the bees who roam through all the lush vegetation on this farm?! All living plants thrive there not just from the soil, but I believe, from the hearts and gratitude, the hard work, and the love that this family provides. By far, one of the best cooking experiences I’ve ever done. You explained everything so well, that it just all made sense. Thank you!😘

If you like food, getting to know the Crete culture and the locals, this cooking class will exceed your expectations. You don’t have to be a great cook, as this cooking class is beginner friendly! Marianna and her family are extremely friendly, passionate people. I would recommend this trip to everyone reading this! (Yes, you!)

Marina and her mom were great host. The facility was clean, attractive and well arranged for the class. I was also nice to see the olive trees and harvest an artichoke for the dish we prepared.
The final products were delicious!
Use Google Maps to navigate there. Apple doesn't quite have it correct.

We booked this from New Zealand and hoped for the best. It was. We had the best day, chatting and cooking with Marianna and even though we didn’t speak Greek, we were able to communicate with Mumma Stella as well. We cooked 2 entrees a main and the yummiest cheese pies for dessert.
We chose to do this class as a couple, we picked our own artichokes from the garden.
We were hydrated with home made drinks as well .
Thank you for sharing your beautiful family ,your knowledge and your skills with us. We just loved Grandma ❤️
If we ever come back to Crete we would definitely do another class . Five stars!
