We never got to go on the tour because they pulled a bait and switch on us. They sold us the Adventure Grill Tour with skewers and drinks but the day before they sent us a message saying that we were just getting diced fruit and fruit drinks. When I sent them proof of the Adventure Grill Tour that we booked they then canceled our trip and said no that the Adventure Grill trip was just an option. So then I asked them to reschedule the trip for us and they gave the excuse that the trip was full and they couldn’t do it because it would cost more??? So I have all the information to show that they were scamming us and I will have my credit card aware of these charges as a dispute.

We were excited to go on this excursion with our Family of 7. When we arrived at port I turned on my phone because we don’t get coverage in the middle of the ocean and I found an email that our excursion was canceled with zero refund. I called in and they said they canceled because they didn’t hear from us. How can they hear from us when we are at sea? We are supposed to get a full refund but it has not been put on our payment method yet. Would not recommend this experience as it left us with no excursion at this port and we couldn’t replace it due to 4 ships at port that day. Very disappointing day for the family.

I traveled on Norwegian Breakaway with my family (ages 8 to 65) in August. We decided last minute to book a shore excursion and a friend of mine recommended Next Experience. We booked our Bacalar Boat Tour and Grill just a few hours before the start but they confirmed our reservation right away and made sure we could attend the tour. The check in location was just a short walk away from the Costa Maya port. Now let me tell you upfront: This tour was worth every penny! It's a small group tour so we almost had the whole boat just to ourselves. The ride was smooth, and the scenery was just jaw-dropping. We went to a lesser crowded beach where we had a surprisingly good lunch. The captain spoke fluent English and had tons of stories to tell... We all agreed that this tour was one of the highlights of our cruise. We highly recommend this tour and the company.

Just got back from our yearly cruise vacation with Norwegian, we had a stop at Costa Maya so we decided to visit the Bacalar lagoon as we had heard great things about it, needles to say, it exceded our expectations! From beginning to end everything was great, the transport was on time and very comfortable, the lagoon was beautiful with crystal clear waters, topped up by the amazing food we had cooked for us! The crew were also great, very nice and accommodating. Highly recommend this for anyone travelling over there!
