Head straight through the entrance at La Sagrada Familia where your guide will explain all there is to know about one of the city's most fascinating UNESCO World Heritage Sites and its modernist creator - Antoni Gaudi. Continue on to Parc Guell, the famous city gardens, and visit La Pedrera, the zenith of Gaudi’s work. WHAT TO EXPECT

1. Gothic Quarter (Barri Gotic)
You will be picked up in a private vehicle at your hotel or apartment in Barcelona and start your private tour in the heart of the city. You will start the tour through the oldest part of the city - the charming Gothic Quarter - discover a maze of quaint, narrow streets full of Roman and medieval architecture. You will then visit the Cathedral, Jewish Quarter, and St. James Square. You'll be able to see part of the Roman wall and the medieval area of Barcelona. You end this portion of the tour with a visit to Santa Maria del Mar church in the Born district and then take a rest and you will be treated to breakfast at a local cafe.
2. Barcelona Cathedral
Detailed explanation of exterior and facade.
3. Placa de Sant Jaume
After crossing the Jewish Quarter, we stop at Saint James Square where the City Hall of Barcelona and the Palau de la Generalitat are located.
4. Basilica de Santa Maria del Mar
The last portion of the walking tour, we visit the Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar - exterior explanation.
5. Basilica de Santa Maria del Mar
Stop for breakfast with coffee and pastry overlooking the facade of the Basilica Santa Maria del Mar. (Bathroom break, etc)
6. Parc de Montjuic
Afterwards, you head over, in a comfortable private vehicle, to Montjuic - the site of the 1929 International Exposition and the 1992 Olympic Games and you visit one of the best viewpoints to see the city.
7. Basilica de la Sagrada Familia
From there, we'll continue down to Spain Square and the Eixample district, in a private vehicle, and pass by the impressive modernist buildings as we continue on to the Sagrada Familia. Here, you'll learn all about the history and the intriguing mystical symbolism of the Basilica, tour the outside facades that are still under construction and see the incredible interior that will leave you speechless. In addition to a detailed explanation of the facades from your private guide, you will also have skip-the-line tickets to go inside.
8. Parc Guell
After lunch, you'll continue to Parc Guell on Tibidabo mountain where the city is beneath your feet and you can admire the marvelous city gardens - another astounding Antoni Gaudi designed UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walking tour through the public areas and skip-the-line tickets to the monumental area of the park.
9. Casa Mila - La Pedrera
Last,you will visit the zenith of Gaudi’s work, a true masterpiece - La Pedrera. Here, again, you will skip the line and go straight in. You will get to see the interior of this unique building, a private acquisition for the Mila family, and afterwards you will get to go up to the roof and enjoy a unique perspective of Passieg de Gracia below. Explanation of the exterior and facade and skip-the-line tickets to go inside, and we take you to the rooftop. Then we take you back to your hotel or apartment in Barcelona city. Due to the scheduled maintenance of La Pedrera, this tour will instead visit Casa Batllo on all tours booked from January 13th - 19th.

The Private Barcelona Tour was THE way to visit the “must see” sites in the city. Miguel (our guide) and Ivan (our driver) did an amazing job sharing their love and knowledge of the city with our family of five. It was a perfect blend of walking and riding from spot to spot. Skip the lines with included tickets to sold out tourist sites. We stopped for pastries and coffee in the morning and a delicious jamon, bread and wine lunch - both included in the cost of the tour. It was a perfect day. Thank you guys!!

This was a comprehensive experience of some of the most historic elements in Barcelona. Our guide, Montsey, was exceptional as her passion, enthusiasm, and knowledge really helped us to understand how these elements fit into the history of Barcelona & of Spain.

This was well worth the cost as we had a great deal to cover in a short period of time and the included transportation, skip-the-line tickets, and lunch really helped us to maximize our time for these key elements.

Lovely day in a beautiful city! Had a great time with our guide Miguel! He was fun and personable and had an easy pace so we were able to stop in shops or take tons of photos as we desired.

We were picked up right outside our ship (good thing as the port is enormous!), and went straight to the Gothic Quarter. This was a very nice 2-hour stroll in the quiet morning streets. Next was snack time with cava wine in front of a basilica. Then up to Montjuïc to see the 1992 Olympic stadium and views of the city. Then lunch and on to 3 of architect Gaudi’s masterpieces. First was his famous church, La Sagrada Familia. Just wow! Then to Parc Guell, my personal favorite. And finally to Casa Mila or La Pedrera. Beautiful day in a beautiful city! Highly recommend!

Note that you will not have enough time to go up into the spires of the church.

We had a fantastic trip! Our guide Miguel was very knowledgeable and had a lot of good recommendations for the rest of our trip. The pace was perfect and the wine and food being included was a nice touch. Our driver was punctual and courteous. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Barcelona!

This private tour with Miguel was the perfect way to really immerse yourself in the past, present and future of Barcelona. We enjoyed a full packed day of comfort and ease travelling with our expert guide Miguel and brilliant driver. We saw so many unique and phenomenal sites and places full of wonder and brilliance. Miguel was passionate friendly and so so insightful giving us a genuine feel and experience of Barcelona and it’s many flavours too. We felt at the end of our tour we had really had seen, tasted and learnt so much of Barcelona with a friend to make sure we got the best of the best. We were picked up by our guide at the port where our ship was docked. The car was a large and comfortable SUV. Very clean. Our driver knew his way and our guide knew the city so well.
She is from We Are Guides, Barcelona. Her name Montse Marques. We spent a wonderful day together that we will never forget. Everywhere we went our driver dropped us at a convenient location and was waiting for us when we were ready to go on to the next destination.
Montse had the skip the line tickets for us at La Sagrada. We entered and she pointed out details of every space , both inside and out. She knew where to stand to see everything in the best light and for the best pictures,too. Our driver took us to Mont Juic and we saw the most beautiful views. Montse explained all along of this area. Our driver took us to the Gothic Quarter as they were preparing for a festival, as Montse told us the history of the festival and the 'Giants' characters we saw getting ready for the parade. She pointed out details of traces of the war and we went to an adorable cafe to rest and have a coffee and croissant. We were again met by our driver and taken to Park Guell the Gaudi house and later La Pedrera. Montse continued, all the while with her wonderful passion and knowledge to explain all there was to know to us. Our driver met us once more and brought us to a delicious ham shop where we ate the famous Iberico ham and drank perfectly spicy wine for our lunch as Montse explained more about her beloved city. After we finished she knew the right place to shop for the best gifts and candy and our driver even carried our shopping bags for us. They were a wonderful pair of guides, playing local flaminco music and opera for us as we drove through the city. We loved every minute! Worth every dollar!

We had a fabulous full day of touring with Miguel and his driver! Highly recommend. Miguel is a kind, thoughtful tour guide who managed to show us all the sites without us ever feeling shortchanged by time. He answered all our questions and had thoughtful recommendations for our remaining time in the city. We will definitely contact him for additional tours when we return to Barcelona!
