Our dance classes are special because they are lead by professionally trained Flamenco dancers. You will be able to learn some basic Flamenco moves, and emmerse yourself in the traditional culture and music of Flamenco.

Great experience and value for money, we booked at short notice the night before and got to enjoy a lesson just my partner and I. I chose to hire the shoes which I'm sure added to the experience and was a nominal price. We learned a lot of steps and got a full routine in two difference dances. Would definitely recommend for those brave enough to try something new.

I visited Mercedes' atelier with a school class (16-18 years old - boys and girls). I was very excited and a bit nervous prior to the visit - how would the group respond to the experience? Answer: they loved it! They participated with interest and passion and the teacher (was her name Elena?) did an excellent job and was patient when we as Danes proved that we do not have the same sense of rythm as the Spanish people :-).
If I go on a study trip to Barcelona again, I will definitely return to MercedesMestre for flamenco dance lessons. It is an authentic and interesting - and FUN experience.

My wife and I did this experience with my daughter and her boyfriend. We all had a blast. The people are super friendly and it’s a really great addition to your Barcelona visit, highly recommend it!
