Enjoy a half-day of sightseeing on this tour of the Pyramids and the Great Sphinx from Cairo. Start at the Great Pyramid of Giza and take in the oldest of the Seven Wonders before continuing to the Great Sphinx, eternally standing guard for King Chefren.

1. Pyramids of Giza
Our guide will pick you up at your requested location or hotel to start your Journey across Cairo. The tour will start by visiting the Great Pyramids of Giza and visit the panoramic area where you can enjoy amazing short camel ride then you will visit the Sphinx and Valley Temple of Khafre, where is the reception of the royal body of Khafre. The Valley Temple was built for the process of mummification of King Khafre. Finally, you will have a close-up look of the Great Sphinx, the guardian of the Pyramids with a body of a lion and a head of King Khafre. Time spent in each place is flexible according to the customers.
2. Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu)
Khufu's pyramid is the only wonder of the ancient seven wonders still remains and standing today!! the highest building on earth for more than 3800 Years, the complex consists of a valley temple, now buried beneath the village of Nazlet el-Samman; diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls have been found but the site has not been excavated yet, with your advanced Egyptologist you will be able to explore the entire area.(Please note that entering the pyramid from inside require special ticket, your will be happy to assist).
3. Khafre's Pyramid
The Second highest pyramid in the complex is dedicated to king Chefren or Khafre, the entire complex is still in good condition so with your Egyptologist you will explore the valley temple and the causeway of king Khafre. (Please note that entering the pyramids from inside that is requires a special ticket, your guide will be happy to assist).
4. Menkaure Pyramid
The Smallest pyramid in Giza plateau, now it is about 61m high, Menkaure pyramid is very special because of the granite outer layer still remains on the lower part of the pyramid, the granite was quarried from Aswan over 9000 kilometers away from Giza
5. Panoramic view of the Pyramids
Next, a visit to a panoramic view of the 6 pyramids, and the city of Giza, were you will stay there for 10 minutes to take photos and enjoy the view
6. Great Sphinx
With the same Entry Ticket to the pyramids area you will have a close-up look of the Great Sphinx, the guardian of the Pyramids with a body of a lion and a head of King Khafre. You will have all the time to take the pictures you want with an assistance from our guide

Momo is a very knowledgeable and friendly guide. He brought us with a good driver to the Pyramids of Giza and to the Sphinx, to see how papyrus is made and to some bazaars that we asked for. We had a very tasty breakfast and lunch. He made our visit great and we would totally recommend him to anyone. He is also a great Italian speaker!
Moreover we had troubles and he has been so kind to help us!

I choose the visite of Gizza/Sphinx of 4 hours with Michael. I spent a really good time and learned a lot about the egyptians story ! Michael is passionnate and happy to share is knowledges.
Ahmed is a caring and carefull driver.

My 14 year old son and I had a great experience on our tour yesterday. Both our guide and driver were courteous and professional. Our guide was knowledgeable and very flexible to allow us create our own experience. The lunch was delicious and our guide and driver went above and beyond when my son broke his glasses and they took us to an optical store and helped us replace the frames so he could have something to wear for the rest of our trip. Highly recommended!

This experience was more than we could have ever imagine. It was truly amazing and Mimo is fantastic. He was so personable, funny and knowledgeable. If you want the BEST private guided tour to the pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx contact Viator Tour and ask for Mimo. I have booked this tour literally last minute once we arrived in Cairo from Alexandria! 24 hours before via Booking.com

Mohamed Reza met us at the hotel before the departure time and straight after the driver arrived.

He explained how the days was looking like and what we were going to see and do in terms of activities.

Mohamed Reza knowledge is amazing, he speaks so many languages and the passion for his jobs is second to none.
He answered any questions we had and he also shared some good tips for our following trips in Cairo during our stays.

He provided water, lunch and some nice juices during our stay and took amazing picture of us.

It never did we feel rushed, all aspects of the tour was simply great.

If you are looking for the best quality tour then do not hesitate to book this one.
