Basic preparation of homely style cooking. We are using Japanese original foodstuff. you can find your new cooking idea and method.
Also,You can try Japanese lunch box "BENTO"= lunch box, which is very balanced lunch style, each items are so nice colored, when it will be opened, healthy and so yummy.
At Yanaka small home, you will be able to cooking with Tokyo local style.also, you can eat yours cooking items.

This was such a great experience! I really enjoyed the cooking and the food. This tour is a small group activity, so for solo travellers is one on one - which is a great way to get some individual instruction and the menu is individualised to your taste. I would definitely recommend this class to anyone visiting Tokyo.

Yuki is fantastic, so sweet, funny and knowledgeable! I never cook and was so amazed with what my friend and I created, will definitely be taking what I learned back home with me and teaching more people!

Chef, Uki was wonderful, patient and thoroughly explained the hows and whys of cooking udon and tempura. The results were delicious Japanese foods we will feel comfortable making when we are home. We can't wait to try them again. Knowing how to tell if the oil was at the correct temperature hlped us lose our fear of deep frying. And it was really fun to use our feet to kneed the dough for the udon — in ziplock bags of course.

This was such a special way to build memories and fill your tummy. I highly recommend this activity if you have time. Our group of 6 consisted of 3 adults and 3 kids.
They made it so welcoming and fun that all of us were able to interact. Recommend you make an appointment and block off at least 2-3 hours. So, this does take up some time, but there are shops in the neighborhood if you want to get local souvenirs.
Some advice to get to the location. We had to check in at a coffee shop and then they walked us back to the kitchen.
They took pictures and shared it with us at the end. So, no need to worry about missing the moments.
At the end, we enjoyed our bento box and chatted with the chef.
Not only was the experience awesome the food was to die for. Excellent all around!

We had a great time learning how to prepare fish and eggplant - Japanese style with YukiSan - she was super friendly and fun to hang with. Would highly recommend! Plan to go shopping on Yanaka street afterwards! Fun little area!

The class with Yuki was the best activity yet in Japan! We made gyozas and udon noodles. She made it such a fun experience. We even made the noodles with our feet. Everything was so delicious and we finished everything we made! I would recommend this for anyone in Tokyo! MUST DO!

Yuki-san's English was very good, and she was a great teacher and cook. She was very clear with instructions and was very engaging which made the experience very memorable. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to learn how to make Japanese home cooking and wants to have a great experience in the Yanaka district of Tokyo.
