Raphael was a wonderful guide who shared so much information and humor with us. We were running 30 minutes behind because there was a miscommunication with the pickup location in Marbella, so Raphael made a lunch reservation after the tour for us and informed our driver that we would need an extra 30 minutes so that the tour was seamless, informative and not rushed. The only reason it was not a 5-star review is that the private tour for our family of 5 was a bit pricey but would do it exactly the same again because of the personalized attention we received.

Clara was an excellent guide. Lots of historical and cultural information. But we ran out of time to see everything. We were dropped off at 1 and waited until 2:30 for the tour. We ate lunch, but would have preferred to skip lunch and see everything.

We had an incredibly memorable visit to the Alhambra with our guide, Jesus! His detailed knowledge of every aspect of history, art and architecture brought the Alhambra to life for us. His descriptions of the Nazrid palaces, practices and Granada’s historical importance truly helped us to gain deeper understanding and appreciation during our visit . We could not have asked for a better guide in terms of knowledge, conversation and an all around memorable trip!

Such a beautiful and powerful tour. Paco was a great driver and Maryla was an excellent guide. She knew so much about the history and her passion for it shows. Lunch near La Alhambra was good - went to Jardín de Nasries which was good, but busy. Recommend making a reservation if you plan on eating a meal in/around the area.

Our tour guide was cool, highly knowledgeable, and was able to cater to our needs. She listened to what we wanted to know, really appreciated that she made it our request as we were in a time crunch.
Driver was safe in navigating the road, and the van was clean.

Good visit to Alhambra Palace where you can walk into the room of Queen Isabella meeting Christopher Columbus approving his trip to the new world. There are beautiful Moorish designs on walls & ceilings with viewing of City of Granada. Too bad that the walking tour is too short 2 1/2 hours. Rosie the guide was very knowledgeable & friendly. She showed the spots for the best photos & took our group pictures.

While this tour may be expensive, you get a lot in return. We were picked up at our hotel in Marbella. The vehicle/van was clean and safe and the driver was friendly (his English was at an intermediate level). Then we were brought to Granada and had an hour to look in the shops and grab a snack (at your own expense). Next, we were given a 2.5 tour of the Alhambra site including Generalife and all the palaces. The tour includes the tickets and allows you to jump lines -- so the same tour might have taken another hour or more if you had to bother getting tickets and waiting in lines. The guide was knowledgeable about the history and the site and was willing to answer questions and even take photos with us in it. For the return, we had the same driver and vehicle, so it was safe to leave luggage in it. We needed to go to a different hotel in a different city (Malaga) and the driver was able to take us there at no extra charge (but we prearranged this by emailing the tour operator, Tours in Malaga). One heads-up -- departure times other than the ones listed on the tripadvisor site might be available. In fact, I has selected 0800 and the tour operator asked me if we could instead start at 1330, which turned out to be fine since things in Spain operate at a later schedule than the eastern parts of the CET time zone.
