Contrary to what you may think, Tangier is considered a cosmopolitan city but Still, the lifestyle in the medina (walled city). The Chaotic architecture , narrow alleys that seem to lead nowhere, different colorful markets and the environment in general will make you feel that you are in another world, .you will love to let yourself be carried away by the sounds and essences that permeate each corner.

We only had one day to see as much as we could of Tangier. Mr. Abdelghafor came highly recommended as a guide, and met up to expectations. Very knowledgable and hospitable and enjoyed showing us his lovely city. With a car and a driver we managed to see many things we would not have seen without him. It was well worth it. Whether you have many days or only a short time, getting to know the complexity of Tangier and it’s interesting people can only be done with a guide who knows every aspect of the city. We saw mosques, synagogues churches, the Medina, the Kasbah interesting coffee shops and restaurant recommendations, Hercules cave, Cap Spartel, (the northernmost tip of Africa), the wealthier suburbs, the parks and forests around the city and the numerous scenic spots for the best views of the city.
My wife and I highly recommend Mr. Abdelghafor.

Was in Tangier textile sourcing for only two days. Mohamed was such a wonderful guide. Spent two days in and out of several authentic Moroccan shops within the Medina. I could not have accomplished my goal without his help for as you venture into the heart of the souk, the alleys become narrower and little bit mysterious, lol. I think I would have gotten lost and given up had he not been such a great guide. Such a great listener as well; he completely understood the assignment! Will always use his service whenever I’m in Tangier.

Muhammad gave us a private walking tour of the old Medina in Tangier which was truly an experience. We happened to be there while the Berber House was open and while we didn’t plan to buy a rug, we came back to the US with a beautiful souvenir to remind us of our crazy trip to Morocco. Very grateful for his local knowledge and connections. He was also kind enough to negotiate a private taxi for us to day trip to the Hercules Caves and a beach in Asilah. Thanks, Muhammad! We will see you next time. -Hilary and Mike

My husband and I had a terrific experience with Abdel (sorry if we spelled the name wrong). We debated whether to hire a guide but he met us off the ferry and it was well worth the price. We learned about the American, English and other countries' connections to Tangiers and Morocco. He took us to see local artisans at work and we feel we saw things we never would have discovered without him. It was fun learning about the history and was an experience we won't soon forget!

My fiance and I found Mohammed by chance and ended up seeing so much more than we ever expected, all because of Mohammed!! He took us around the madina, to Hercules caves, and to all the authentic markets and restaurants. He also showed us some landmarks that we had on our itinerary. Mohammed really made this spontaneous trip much more than we could have asked for. He knew all the places to go and so much history and was so personable. We got to know him on a more personal level because of his kindness and authenticity. He made sure a taxi driver didn't take advantage of us at one point and showed us other kind local people who we enjoyed getting to know. This unique location and experience is really worth the visit and we 100% recommend yalla tours tangier.
