Hotel pick up and allocated seats on the coach were well organised and smooth.
Our tour leader and coach driver were very professional and friendly.
The guide in Quebec was passionate, enthusiastic and animated with her tour… a bit too much for us, we left the walking tour half way through as it was quite annoying (we felt like we were on a grade six school excursion).
We opted not to take the cruise so had over four hours to wander around which was probably too long as we had to wait until 5:40 pm when the cruise finished before we made the return journey to Montreal. At that time of day the traffic was slow, the bridge into the city was closed so it was 10pm before we got back to the hotel! Very frustrating…
Our driver and tour leader were excellent and the traffic issues were out of their control but it was a bummer way end to the day. Perhaps the tour planning could be better?

Worth the trip out. Quebec City is beautiful. Quaint, European styled streets and alleys. Plenty of souvenir shopping to be done. One has to try poutine here (it's its birthplace after all). 3 hours single way journey (but there's a toilet break about 1.5hr into the bus ride). It is however a very big group (about 44 people in a big coach). Coach was comfortable. There is minimal "guiding"/ talking in the bus... though there is a 45-50min walking tour once we arrived in Quebec City- come mentally prepared for some steep steps to get from lower town to upper town though (having said that you can take a funicular up for $5 instead if you didn't feel like walking). Finally, Montmorency Falls was a short but pretty stop.

The actual tour by richard was a waste of time and since he did it both in french and English the actual tour was barely 20 min long!

Great to have the transport and day planned but still have some free time to explore Quebe after a short walking tour with a guide. Not sure I’d do the cruise again but it did allow me to see other parts of the city enclosed as it was raining all day. Nice stop at the falls. It is a long day but Quebec is worth the visit as it’s a beautiful city.

Yang was a great tour guide. He kept the group engaged. The falls were beautiful. A nice excursion before the Quebec City main event. The views of the city are better from the water. Plenty of shops for souvenirs. You must try Mary’s Popcorn.

The tour was ok, not the worst and not the best that I have been on. On the way there, there was a break but on the way back there was none which made the journey really uncomfortable.

The vocal tour of Quebec City felt disappointingly short given the length of the day. It left me with 4 hours spare as my party decided against the cruise which was an additional $45.

It was also disappointing that we only had 20 minutes at Montmorency Falls. We feel the tour would’ve been better if there was more time here as it was a beautiful location and had a lot to offer.

The tour guide was very friendly and approachable.

Nobody wants to say it, but a day trip really isn't feasible/worth it, UNLESS you have nothing else to do for a day.

Quebec city has lots of history, and only having 3 hours of exploring doesn't even allow you to scratch the surface after wading through the commercialized tourist areas. Plus the nature of a larger group is that movement is a little inefficient. If your ambitious, rent a car and leave early.

The staff/tour was good and organized, it's just really not worth the time you spend driving.
