This is a short, but intense trip. Customers will discover and experience the most significant places of the Lofoten Islands. The Lofoten islands are divided into two different parts by a very long mountain Chain, the Lofotveggen. You will have the opportunity of visiting both sides, the wild Atlantic and the Vesfjord side, where some of the most important fishing villages are. On this 5-hour guided tour, you will drive along the archipelago searching for nature and culture.

1. Lofoten Islands
With this tour, which lasts about five hours, we want our visitors to see the most spectacular locations that these islands offer, both natural, historical, and cultural. It will be possible for you to sit on pure white beaches facing a crystal sea, to admire imposing mountains which for billions of years have guarded, like ancient Viking warriors, magnificent cliffs where the waves of the North Sea break. You will smell the scent of that same sea, united with the perfume of arctic flowers. At the same time, you might also visit archaeological sites which tell the story of the Viking population, and the origins of this land.Walk among the old “Rorbu” (old fishermen’s houses) in the different, colorful villages of the islands. You will also have the chance to taste the various typical products of these islands, while sitting in some characteristic local restaurants. With this excursion, we would like to take you to discover these islands; we will not only visit some of the characteristic fishing villages which have made these islands famous, and are appreciated all over the word, but we’ll also take you to explore unspoiled nature, the most genuine and extraordinary part of this beautiful archipelago. We will drive you through the islands and their amazing white sandy beaches, icy lakes and high mountains covered by snow. You will admire Arctic landscapes and fishing communities where, you can breath the history and the atmosphere of the ancient times when the fishermen used to gather up here to participate to the cod fishing season. Gimsøy island , Bøstad and its panoramic spot, the Vestfjord , Henninsgvær, the Venice of the north and Kabelvåg are some of the places you will visit. With this short tour you will have the possibility of capturing the best that these islands can offer you.

We had a fantastic day with Lofoten Lights on Oct. 13th. We were part of a group from the Island Princess cruise ship. The bus arrived at the pier early so we could wait in the warmth of the bus before the guide arrived. Our guide, Laura, was the best! She gave us a lot of information about the sights and the way of life in Norway. We visited 3 different islands and passed through numerous tunnels and bridges. We were blessed to have perfect weather. The lighting made for spectacular scenery everywhere we looked. At each place, Laura gave us plenty of time to take photographs. It never felt rushed. This tour and this day turned out to be the highlight of the cruise. Thank you for a wonderful memory!

Our driver & guide, Eric , was considerate, entertaining & knowledgeable throughout the whole excursion. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful places we visited and the stories Eric shared with us which contributed to our experience of Norwegian life, history & culture.
Would totally recommend this tour to anyone coming to the Lofoten islands and Eric as a guide.

Eric is the best guide I have ever come across. He gave us a lot of interesting facts, his personal emotions about the islands and was ready to make stops when we asked for a photo! He really contributed to making this trip amazing and unforgettable. He picked us up right on time, we were making stops to use the bathroom and also helped us with small hikes around the stops. I would definitely recommend this experience for everyone staying in Svolvaer!

We did two tours with Maurizio visiting the islands, both tours were amazing. First of all Maurizio made sure we had a great time, and we did! He is really prepared and has told us many things both specific to the tour and life in Norway in general. We were lucky to have very clear weather during our staying and had the possibility of viewing amazing places. Maurizio was always ready to give us curiosities about places, taking us to the best places to eat and in general was always ready with a joke and a smile. I would definitively recommend him and his tours, after all there is a reason for all the great reviews he has!

That was an amazing guided tour especially because of the guide himself. Eric is an extremely nice person who can find a common language with everybody. The places he took us to and the stories he told us were fascinating!
