Completely customizable tour! Coordinate with us for a custom itinerary as long as it is within the 5 1/2 hours of tour duration, or you can follow our base itinerary.
Base Itinerary:
The first stop is in an awesome tequilera. Here you can learn about the distillation process of this one hundred percent Mexican drink, and experience its different flavors, smells and colors. You can not miss it!
Then we head out to the east side of the island to admire the beautiful virgin beaches, and take some breathtaking photographs.
We then drive to your last stop, the beach club. Here you will experience an authentic complimentary Mexican lunch and have a chance to do some snorkeling. Your guide will gladly lead the way into the Caribbean ocean and show you how to use your included snorkel equipment. You’ll be amazed at the tropical beauty of the coral reef system.
Finally, when you are done snorkeling, it is time to go with your guide back to the meeting point where you where picked up.

Pedro P. was an excellent guide. We enjoy the personal touch of the tour. Pedro customized the tour to our likes, for instance we had previously gone on a tour w/this company so we didn't want to go to a Tequila tasting again. No problem. Also, the weather didn't fully cooperate that day, but Pedro suggested alternatives that we could do. He was great, very personable, we really enjoyed seeing new sites on the island and learning from Pedro. Meet up was easy from the cruise pier and he returned us w/plenty of time to spare. Great trip.

This was the second time traveling to Cozumel within 7 months. Both times we booked with Jeep Riders and both experiences were excellent. Our first tour guide during June of 2023 was Tomas and our second during January of 2024 was Pedro. We booked the second time because of our good experience from the first. If you are worried to book excursions not affiliated with a cruise line, don’t be afraid. This group is a class act.

Tomas was a great guide. Attentive and knowledgeable. Tequila tasting was delicious. Must stop at the food stand on the beach.

Our guide Jordan who drove us in the Jeep was really cool, patient and accommodating. Would highly recommend his services again.
The Mayan tour was educational thanks to our private tour guide at that location. My teenagers were actually listening and engaged.
The tequila tour was ok, it was very short, if you’re not a tequila drinker, I would skip.
The lunch that was included was ok, we were very hungry so we ordered additional food which seemed very over priced. But the atmosphere was cool.
The snorkeling location was fun for the teenagers.
Overall a great excursion if you haven’t been to Cozumel before….

We have been to Cozumel several times and it’s been awhile since we have been back so we wanted a private tour and go down memory lane. Ricardo did a great job he was very knowledgeable and talked to us about things that had happened since we had been there. We chose this Jeep tour so we could do what we wanted to do. Ricardo picked us up at our hotel, water and beer provided and off we went for our adventure. First we headed to the far north of the island since it had been years since we had seen it. Next, to the tequila tasting and it was delicious and enjoyable. Then on to the east side of the island to view the beautiful beaches and big waves. We stopped for several photo ops along the way. We enjoyed the calm waters and scenery at Chen Rio. We stopped at a small beach bar and had the most delicious mojitos. We sat and watched the water as we enjoyed our drinks with some chips and pico. Then continued on to stop and enjoy more scenic sights of this side of the island. We saw where the turtles had made nests and the hatchlings were beginning to hatch. Ricardo is very knowledgeable as he is a native of Cozumel. We had lunch at Tortuga Beach Club that was included in our tour, and it was very delicious. Back on the road we enjoyed the views until we were back at our hotel. We did spend 5 hours on this great trip. Thanks so much to Ricardo for his excellent customer service, knowledge of Cozumel and taking photos of us too. We would highly recommend Ricardo as he is so personable and speaks excellent English. A very good tour with our guide Ricardo. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about the island of Cozumel, as a local himself.
We had a lot of rain and wind on our tour day but Ricardo still ensured we had a comfortable ride. We visited many viewing spots around the island including Punta Sur Eco Park and spotted a few crocodiles. It was a lovely tour - thank you Ricardo!
