I had an amazing time in Cairo thanks to Egypt Super Tours and my wonderful tour guide Sherif. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He picked me up from my hotel in a comfortable air-conditioned car and drove me to the Giza Plateau, where I saw the magnificent Pyramids and the mysterious Sphinx. He explained to me the history and the secrets of these ancient wonders and took me to the best spots for taking photos. He also arranged a camel ride for me, which was a lot of fun and a great way to see the Pyramids from a different perspective.
After visiting the Giza Plateau, we went to a local restaurant for a delicious lunch of Egyptian cuisine. Sherif recommended me some dishes that I really enjoyed, such as koshari, molokhia, and shawarma. He also taught me some Arabic words and phrases that I could use during my trip.
Next, we headed to the Egyptian Museum, where I was amazed by the huge collection of artifacts, mummies, and treasures from ancient Egypt. Sherif was very knowledgeable and passionate about the Egyptian culture and history. He showed me the highlights of the museum, such as the Tutankhamun exhibit, the Royal Mummy Room, and the Narmer Palette. He also answered all my questions and made sure I didn’t miss anything.
Finally, we went to the Khan el-Khalili bazaar, where I experienced the vibrant and colorful atmosphere of Cairo’s old market. Sherif helped me to bargain with the vendors and find some souvenirs and gifts for my family and friends. He also took me to a traditional coffee shop, where we had some mint tea and shisha while listening to some live music.
I had a fantastic day in Cairo thanks to Egypt Super Tours and Sherif. He was not only a great tour guide but also a great friend. He made me feel welcome and safe in Cairo and showed me the best of what this city has to offer.
