No previous riding experience is required.
The guests will experience the famous Tuscan hills in a unique way: on horseback.
The ride is customized according to each one's riding experience. A professional equestrian guide will introduce you to the basics of the ride on horseback first and pair you to our very trained horses prior the 1h ride that will be held through spectacular olive groves and vineyards that even the novice riders will enjoy.
After returning to the stables the guests will be driven to a local medieval castle or a historic farm, specialized in the olive oil production.The landlord will guide them to the discovery of the family's historic expertise in the olives farming and their superior quality extra virgin olive oil. The olive oil paired with a tasting of local cheeses, Tuscan ham and bruschettas, Chianti wine will finally be served in one of the farm's historic room or on the scenic terrace.
Vegetarians are also welcome.

Great fun and educational! Met on time at convenient spot in downtown Florence and whisked away by private car to the horse farm. Informative host showed us sights along way and answered our myriad questions!! Mounts were well maintained and great. Ride thru beautiful country with experienced rider/leader. Informative and fun tour of olive farm including how the oil is made. Delicious Tuscan lunch with Chianti overlooking the farm and the Tuscan valley. Well worth it and great way to learn about and see the Tuscan countryside.

Me and my family had a amazing time horseback riding in the beautiful hills of Tuscany and was one of favorite things to do on our trip to Italy. Simona and all of the hosts were very nice and accommodating throughout the day. Highly recommended if you are looking to do something outside the city of Florence.

An excellent personalised tour from Simona which also included wine tasting.
Everything went to plan and exceeded expectations. The riding was wonderful for both a novice and experienced rider. The horses seemed well looked after and matched the rider’s experience well.
The wine and lunch tour was excellent and we were well looked after.
Our personal driver Marco was on time and very friendly, even taking pictures of our ride.
All in all a well organised and enjoyable day out.

My sister and I enjoyed a lovely day on the Tuscan countryside with Simona facilitating a wonderful and personal experience. Stefano guided us on our ride. It was very fun, beautiful, and safe at all times. Our olive oil tour, tasting, and lunch with a glass of local Chianti, completed the experience. Perfecto! It was wonderful to step away from the crowds and experience the beauty that surrounds Florence.

Fabulous way to spend half of the day, Simona and her team are wonderful hosts. Enjoyable for riders of any level. The olive tasting and lunch was a great way to end the visit. Additionally Simona provided many recommendations and advice for your other travels around Italy. All in all a great way to get out and see the country side!

The whole experience was fantastic! We had a lovely horseback ride through the countryside into the olive groves and vineyards with Giovanni. After, we met the amazing Giacomo who owns and runs the Castle Bonsi estate and had a fantastic meal with his olive oil and wine. We enjoyed the beautiful grounds and our new furry friend Kenny - the amazing best friend of Count Giacomo. 🐕
Through it all the wonderful Simona ensured our every step was perfect throughout the day. She was kind, fun and courteous in ensuring our expectations were met. She and Giacomo even procured my sunglasses I left and ensured I received them. Fantastic experience!

The horseback riding and olive oil tour was exactly what we were hoping for! Simona and Marco could not have been nicer, and they went above and beyond for us. The horses were well trained and the ride through the countryside was beautiful, it felt like it was something out of a movie. We also loved seeing the local olive oil factory and learning about the process. Lunch was delicious, and it was the perfect way to wrap up a great day. We would absolutely do one of these tours again the next time we’re in Italy!

To say my husband and I had an incredible experience with the horses and olive oil would be a complete understatement. Everything and everyone was absolutely amazing. The ride to and from Florence to the horses and the castle was not only easy and comfortable but very informative and fun due to the amazing hosts , Simona and Marco. Their horses are beautiful and extremely well trained, my husband and I will definitely be going back for a longer ride next time. The castle with the olive oil and lunch was out of this world and something my husband and I will never ever forget. Finding out that you can stay at the castle was a wonderful surprise and my husband plan on doing just that on our next trip to Florence . Could not recommend this activity enough !
