Visit Chefchaouen, a beautiful blue door and a white-walled medina that was originally a Berber post. The main square is the heart of Chefchaouen, with its eighteenth century kasbah, a central mosque and cafes offering authentic Moroccan style menus. The market is a mixture of traditional Moroccan and tourist souvenirs. It is often very frequented, but worth a visit for good business.
During your guided tour, explore the kasbah built by Moulay Ismail and which is now practically a ruin next to the Great Mosque. Visit the charming main square and the souks that sell a wide variety of products. Rafiq was our driver between Tangier-Chefchaouen on either end of a 3 day stay. He was such a friendly and helpful driver - answering all our questions about the area and suggesting favorite places to eat. He was a great driver, I often have problems with carsickness but didn’t with his driving. He also knew the perfect spot for a pit stop with stunning views when driving between the cities! Rafik was our driver during our trip to Morocco and he was excellent!! Super responsive, reliable, and courteous! His car (a Skoda SUV) was brand new and always extremely clean. It's clear he takes very good care of it. We felt like celebrities with the sun shades pulled up!
Personally, I'm a big car enthusiast and really was considering renting a car and doing the driving myself but I'm VERY glad we had Rafik as a driver instead. There are several checkpoints along the roads in Morocco and with Rafik we were able to get through them quickly and without incident. It was also really nice to have someone who knows the roads so well that they didn't even need GPS.
Overall a great experience and I'd highly recommend him to anyone looking to get around Morocco!!

We were only in Morocco for 2 full days which was in the midst of our trip to the south side of Spain. It is safe to say that as I am typing this, I wish we had more time in Morocco at that moment. We were coming off of a full day of visiting Tangier and we learned the next morning Rafik was our driver.
I can easily say Rafik was THE BEST driver we've ever had on this trip. He took his whole time driving us from Tangier down to Akchour, and then to visit the town of Chefchaouen which I commend him on since it's a pretty long drive.
As for visiting Akchour, we did not have enough time to visit their entire waterfall. We only got a chance to visit the outer part of it. But even then, it was breathtaking because of natural it felt. If the opportunity presents to do their hike and see the other waterfalls, I'd like to finish the trip.
For Chefchaouen, seeing their buildings colored in blue on google is entirely different when you see it in person. You can tell how historic their town is, but more importantly, the people there are very welcoming.
Oh, and when I said Rafik was the best driver we've ever had on this trip, I forgot to mention that Rafik was an even better person. We got to know him more and more and we bonded instantly. However, I cannot say enough about him as a person and here is why. The very next morning, we had a boat trip to get from Tangier to Gibraltar. Unfortunately it was cancelled due to the heavy winds that day. As we were scrambling to look for tickets to get back to Spain, Rafik called us to see how we were doing. Once we explained the situation to him, he helped us get out from Tangier to Casablanca for our flight with his language translation. We were forever grateful for what Rafik did when he didn't have to do it. He is willing to do what it takes to make sure his customers are satisfied!
I know if I have friends and family members who want to visit Morocco, I would definitely give them Rafik's contact information.

The tour was amazing. Complete trust in Rafiq, he was very good, friendly and very adaptable to what we wanted to do on our trip!
Throughout our tour from Tangier to Chefchaouen, Rafiq took very good care of us. He showed us all the areas of interest, explained the landscape, and just being very friendly and real.
We had a great time and would definitely recommend to friends and family
