The day was wonderful and our driver could not have been nicer. We were taken to three different Chateau's starting with one from the 1500's to a more modern at the end which was spectacular all the wines were delicious. We never felt rushed and we also had lunch in St. Emillion which was wonderful. We would recommend this trip to all

Fred, our driver, was wonderful and took care of all our arrangements. We enjoyed three very different wineries and he made reservations for a lovely lunch. The day was perfect!

There were no memorable parts because this tour had to be canceled last minute because the cruise ship couldn’t make the port due to weather, THIS IS NO FAULT OF THE TOUR OPERATOR, except they will not refund the $700 due to the 24 hour cancellation notice, so we are out that money even though it was out of our control, I’m sure it would have been a fantastic tour had our ship docked, but instead we are left with a bad taste for Viator and their policies, the tour company deserves something for their efforts but the full amount seems a little ridiculous

My wife and I made a last minute reservation for this wine tour. And last minute means in less than 24 our driver/ tour guide Fred was able to pull off miracles by getting us wine tastings in Margaux and Pauillac regions that were great. Fred also recommended a lunch place near by at a spectacular restaurant between tastings. I would highly recommend this tour. Hope to return and do it again.

This was fantastic! Pascal’s knowledge of French wine is tremendous. He also made the trip entertaining and enjoyable with stories of the history and the famous families who’ve built Bordeaux wine to what it is today. This by far was the highlight of our trip. While expensive it was worth every penny!

The preparation for our wine tour started months before our arrival in Bordeaux. Frederick painstakingly made arrangements for us to visit the various sub Medoc vineyards in St Julien, Paulliac, and Margaux. We managed several vertical wine tastings and had a great lunch at La Maison D'Estournal with wines from Cos d'Estournal in St. Estephe.

This was a first class experience from start to finish. Very soon after we booked the tour, Fred had made all of the arrangements with each winery (Château de Beychevelle, Cos d’Estournelle for lunch, Château Pedesclaux, and Château Gruaud Larose, all in Haut-Medoc) and gave us a detailed itinerary for our review. His communication was excellent and he was right on time. Each site was very well chosen and distinctly different so it was wonderful to be able to compare. The car was also extremely comfortable. I would recommend this to anyone with an interest in Bordeaux wines and an appetite for learning.

Our driver took us to several wineries and a walking tour of St Emilion. He spoke good English and was quick to offer to take photos, offer water, and make suggestions for our trip. We took several 'unscheduled' stops including to a macaron shop that's been operating since the 1600s. He also provided historical and cultural context to many of the areas we visited.
The service is willing to customize your itenerary. In our case, we asked them to plan the day for us. It turned out great.

Very nice tour with a Day in the Vineyard’s and a French country meal. The car was very comfortable. Our driver Pascal was very knowledgeable about wine in the area and the tour was a lot of fun.

Fantastic guide, car and day out. Well worth considering for anyone person or group wanting to see the Bordeaux wine regions in comfort and leave the organizational skills to a professional.
Our guide Alex was a perfect guide for our full day wine tour in Bordeaux. His English is great, he’s very personable, wonderful driver and having grown up in Bordeaux Alex was able to offer his vast knowledge on not only the wine region but of Bordeaux itself. He listened to what we wanted to see on our tour and organized a great day for us in the 2 regions we wanted to explore to the best of his ability. We were aware that some of the wineries do not allow visitors and also in august a lot of the wineries close for summer holidays, so leaving the planning up to Alex definitely saved a lot of time and effort. The 4 people in the our group were comfortable in the Tesla X, Alex supplied water and even went out of his way to find a chemist and purchase some Panadol for one of our group who had a headache.
Overall we had a wonderful day and would very happily book Alex again next time we are in Bordeaux.
