The tour overall went fine, here is what went well and what didn’t go well. In summary their good customer support and fixing the hotel made it from 3 to 4 stars. Better communication would make it to 5 stars.

Pros:
1. Fast responses through Viator chat
2. They apologized for the hotel & the delay by the driver by moving us to a better 4-star hotel
3. All the guises and hotels had all the information they needed to have and the internal coordination was excellent between all parties.
4. The details of the hikes and the tour was totally worth it, I even recommend booking a 3-day tour for Sa Pa to stay a day longer and enjoy the unbelievable nature, rice farms & villages.
5. The set menu food for us for lunch and dinner in the hotels was very good quality and portions

Cons:
1. They are the only operator who didn’t text us on WhatsApp in Vietnam a day before and so we had no idea how to reach out to them to chat on the spot apart from Viator messaging
2. The driver was late and we had no clue if he’d be coming or not
3. People in the bus didn’t know the names of their accommodations and the driver didn’t speak any English so I would recommend that the organizers always text the travellers a day before with what to expect and what to do when they arrive in Sa Pa. These all-inclusive tours can be stressful as we have no idea what will happen next and who knows what

Amazing views, good to see and learn about the local people of that area. The travel agency failed to provide information upfront. We had no information about where we were going to stay, trip itinerary, etc. You find out all on the spot. Try to avoid the back seat of the limousine because it can be quite bumpy on the road. We got an ‘upgrade’ to a four stars hotel (Freesia Hotel), which we wouldn’t have given two stars. It was shabby, old, requiring maintenance urgently. The food provided in the hotel was very bland. The lunch provided during the trekking was ok and plenty. The tourist guide was lovely. Overall, it was a good trip!

We had an amazing trekking tour - would highly recommend! We stayed at golden villa Hotel, and they have a great local tour guide named lily - she was absolutely fantastic. Took us on great trekking trails and helped us understand a bit about life in Sapa. She was a tour guide and we couldn't speak more highly of her - very enthusiastic and knowledgable!

They pick up us at our hotel in old quarter by Luxury limousine car.Very comfortable van.We got the tour from Sung . A very nice ,helpful and cheerful guide. She herself is a local who can guide you clearly and tell you more about the living conditions of the locals. This via a nice walk through the rice fields. She tried very hard to do this in English. Highly recommended. Many many Thanks.

Sapa is great and I definitely would recommend visiting this region of Vietnam. The tour was great. The Golden Villa hotel manager took great care of us, ensuring that we got our lunch, dinner, and breakfast, and giving some tips about our homestay. We visited many places with the local guide, including Cat Cat and Lao Chai. The landscapes are absolutely gorgeous, and I was very interested in the local people's customs (many different ethnic groups inhabit this region, each with their own dialect and customs).

Two small suggestions for improvement: 1) although the local guide was very nice and took good care of us, she was not always very talkative (or sometimes preferred to talk to other local guides during the trekking). While I also sometimes prefer "quiet type" guides to overly talkative ones, it would have been nice to get more information about the local customs, etc..., without always having to ask questions. 2) Some portions of the trek are quite steep and slippery. I needed help for a few sections and at least one woman in my group could not complete the trek (and neither of us were senior citizens or unfit for physical activity). It may be possible to improve these sections of the trail with a few hours of work, or to make sure that non-experienced mountain climbers always feel safe.

Oh! That was an absolutely amazing tour! We took the shuttle bus from Hanoi and got there to Golden Villa hotel. The next day shines up by bright sky (we were warned about bad rains usually happen in Sapa). Duc, our tour guide speaks excellent English, he took us for the first hiking down Cat Cat village, meeting with local tribal people there, seeing them working with buffalos on terrace field was an incredible experience for us. hen after lunch we took a little drive to Lao Chai and started our trek here. Lao Chai was also magnificent beautiful village, far away from tourist crowds, lovely local villagers and peaceful scenes there.

We spent about 4 hours there then got back to the hotel when mist came down to the town. Dinner arranged by Duc also excellent with local specialities, free-range pork, chicken, trout LAU and vegies,..etc.
The next day we took another drive to hike around amazing Silver waterfall, talking to local vendors there in bunches of local herbs and unique things. And a lot to tell about too.
Let’s go, cuz Sapa is representing for the best of Vietnamese mountain scene and heritages.
