Tuan was a wonderful tour guide, I was traveling with my teenage son who selected this tour and it was just a great experience.
Tuan also encouraged us to join him the next day with his tour to the Chu Chi Tunnels. These 2 days were my sons favourite experience in Vietnam. Would definitely recommend both these tours with Tuan.

Booked a private Long Tan Tour. We attended the Long Tan Cross which was peaceful and glad we had the opportunity to pay our respects. We also visited the Long Phuoc Tunnel which was really interesting and Nui Dat. The vehicle was clean and tidy. Our guide Tuan was a South Vietnamese Army Officer during the war. He was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable in regards to all aspects of the war, in particular the Australian and New Zealand Army units. I also enjoyed his personal memories of the war and could really listen to him talk all day about his first hand experiences. Highly recommend this tour and ask for Tuan, he was awesome.

We were warmly greeted by our tour guide and driver as they picked us up from our hotel. The car was clean and comfortable.

Our tour guide was a jolly 75yo former officer from the South Vietnamese Army. He gave us insights to the Australian and New Zealand deployment to Nui Dat and history of the era.

The Long Tan memorial is a peaceful place and we paid our respects to the fallen there a minute’s silence, burning incense and leaving flowers.

There is not much left of the Nui Dat base and the area is now a quarry. Nui Dat hill is there so some of physical features remain. The Nui Dat airfield’s runway is now a local road and helicopter landing field a soccer field now.

We visited a few other places along the way but the Long Tan memorial and Nui Dat were definitely the highlights.

We were returned our hotel happy that we had visited this significant part of our troops’ history.

Tuan was a fantastic guide with a really insightful knowledge of the history of the area, and knowledge of the battle. Really enjoyed the tour. Would highly recommend especially for anyone with an interest in Australian military history. Not much of Nui Dat left as it is being used as a quarry, but still worth a visit.

Alex (sticky rice) was a very knowledgeable and informative tour guide and along with his 2 apprentices running the camera got a lot of photos and videos of our trip to nui dat and a short remembrance at the long tan cross.A look at the tunnels and a very nice lunch saw us heading back to saigon. Thanks to Alex and the team for a very good day and would highly recommend the trip.

Went to Nui Dat and Long Tan. Was a comfy ride and we saw all that was left of the Australian base (not a lot as it’s being mined out) and the memorial cross. My guide did a ceremony and was informative with place cards and information. I knew bits about the battle from the documentary narrated by Sam Worthington so it was very interesting to put yourself in the place of the soldiers.

Tuan was a wonderful guide full of information with photos and maps to explain site locations. Took group photos and forwarded them on to us. Not much left of the Nui Dat site much of it quarried, the airstrip which is now a road, being the main remaining feature.
