We had a long layover in Bogotá and contacted BogoTravel tours to arrange one of their layover tours. After giving them our flight details, they organised a great itinerary for us to see alot of the city! We asked to change some things as we wanted to go to the botanical gardens. This was all supported and they rearranged the itinerary.
They picked us up on time and everything was seamless. Fernando, our tour guide was great. So knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Bogotá.
We had such a great time and although it was quick, it was a great way to see the city!
Highly recommend this company!

The tour was an amazing experience that showed us parts of Bogota we would not have seen otherwise. First of all, our taxi took us to the wrong bike tour spot. Our guide came and picked us up to then take us on a private tour after sending us a picture of him and the place. Yes, I added the photo to help fellow bikers.
We enjoyed graffiti art throughout the city, and he told us the meaning of it. This is truly the heart of the city. We got to see part of the coffee making process and drink some of course. We also saw different neighborhoods and parks along with many other awesome details about the city.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and knew the speed to take our group of three so we all had fun. He deserves kudos, and I would highly recommend this tour!

For a layover in Bogota on 9 March 2020, we arranged a 4-hr city tour with Bogotravel Tours. Fernando was very responsive to what we wanted. Fabio was our excellent tour guide and we saw interesting city sites. Per our request we also visited the Gold museum and the Botero Museum. The latter also has a wonderful collection of other painters (Picasso, Degas, Matisse, and others). Airport pick-up return and tour itinerary were perfect.
For a second, much shorter, layover on 27 March, we talked Fernando into arranging a visit of Monserrate Hill only. It would have been early in the morning and brief. We paid for the tour in full on 9 March 2020. On 15 March we cancelled because of covid-19.
Fernando immediately ordered a full refund.
Our dealings with Bogotravel were efficient, responsive, and honest.
We highly recommend Bogotravel, it could not have been any better.
