Take a journey back in the time to the 1940´s, where the Nazi-German forces had occupied Oslo. On this guided walking tour we will pass along main streets of Oslo, but we will look at them from a broader vision. The war left many traces in the city, but it's not so easy to notice them.

This tour was terrific! Our guide Rami had so much knowledge and presentation skills that the tour could have gone on for 6 hours. Plus the pictures he shared of WW2 showed most of the buildings back then are still operational. I highly recommend this tour!

Rami is passionate about his work. Did a wonderful job weaving in historical photos into the tour. Learned a lot about what went on in Norway during WWII, which was a gap in my WWII history knowledge.

I highly recommend exploring the city with such a guide! With Rami you will find yourself in the most caring hands! And you no longer feel like a tourist, because he will tell you how to get there, where to eat, what to drink, where to go (depending on your desires and budget), and even what souvenirs to bring. I'm not talking about magnets, but about cool salmon that the locals eat. The historical data is very easy to understand and peppered with beautiful legends and everyday stories of the people of Norway! Have a great trip!

Rami was an amazing guide - he was very knowledgeable about both the city and the war. He is a photographer/history buff but you don't have to be to enjoy this tour!
His communication before the tour was stellar, including an email the morning of to remind us to dress warmly since there had been a drop in temperature. The tour was well paced and really was a unique way to learn about the history of Oslo and make our way around the city.

We thoroughly enjoyed learning about WW2 in Oslo - 1940-1945 - from our researched and passionate guide, Rami Kafarov.
He shared history and stories about the people and city during its occupation. He even included pictures from the same spots 80 years later! Rami was very professional and pleasant and shared a wealth of information with us during our tour immersion. We purchased his beautiful book full of details and pictures of the tour.

Rami was very knowledgeable about the events in Oslo during WWII. His stories and tie ins to the places we visited around Oslo were spot on. It was a very interesting walking tour and we learned a lot. I would recommend this tour!

Rami was very engaging and informative and his tour was the highlight of our stay in Oslo. He directed his presentation towards our interests as well as bringing to our attention points that were off the beaten teack but added significantly to our appreciation of the time period. Highly recommended!
