We greatly enjoyed this tour with Jessica (our Guide) and Marcelo (our driver). They were attentive to our needs and gave us a lot of information about their beautiful country. Watch out for the effects of altitude! Personally, I was not able to reach the refuge but it was not a problem for me since I simply turned around! We can see the volcano very well on several levels! We ate well in a typical restaurant and this was the reward after climbing! I recommend this tour!

Wonderful tour and excursion to the top of Mount Cotopaxi (but make sure you acclimate to altitude before climbing!)! Pamela, our tour guide, was very sweet, and patient with our tour group. We had some challenging personalities in our group who she managed with grace and patience, and was able to ensure that all of us had an amazing experience! My friend and I climbed the top of Cotopaxi, we ate delicious breakfast and lunch, and got a chance to pet lamas! Pamela gave us a very well rounded experience and explained a lot about Cotopaxi and neighboring cities along the way. Definitely a worthwhile experience :)

Cotopaxi is just gorgeous and I'm so glad I was able to see it up close. Our guide Alejandro was very thoughtful and engaging. He was so fun to talk to. I highly recommend him.
We saw a fox and got to feed a baby llama! The altitude and wind will kick your butt!

My 9 y.o. daughter and I had a blast traveling to Cotopaxi volcano with our guide Irene and people from all over the world. It was a cloudy and windy day so the hike was extremely challenging but we completed it and felt amazing. I would like to mention that traveling with Irene was such a pleasure. She takes pride in being Ecuadorian and we had so many laughs together and learned a great deal about Ecuadorian culture and history. Thanks to Irene, we fell in love with a positive spirit and generational wisdom of Ecuadorians. On this tour, we had several stops including the visitor center, the lagoon and a stop for a delicious lunch where we interacted with lamas. My daughter says that Irene is her favorite guide ever (and I agree) and that this wonderful day will stay in our memories forever.

This trip was really fun. Although I wasn’t prepared fully for how tough the hike to the base would be, it felt great to arrive in the lodge at the top. We didn’t get clear enough skies to see the volcano, but honestly the trip was worth it.
Irene was super friendly, funny and made the day very enjoyable. I highly recommend!

People to tell you that I did this tour alone and had a great time! The weather no more was a little extreme so go well prepared sneakers, waterproof suit and the most important take an extra change! Our Guide was Irene! Very friendly and enjoyable throughout the tour! He did it completely in English but with me we talked in Spanish!
I recommend it if you have the opportunity!

EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT!
You do not have to doubt another second before taking the chance of going to this adventure when you are around Quito.
Cotopaxi is not only incredible as a National Park but amazing as a whole volcano.
We just went with my best friend to this trip and enjoyed all the experience from contacting the agency and organizing the adventure, until coming back after one magnificent activity.
Also, if you have the chance of going with Jessy and Paul, you better not miss it! :)
