3. Ephesus Terrace Houses
Terrace Houses were the houses of rich & upper class people in Ephesus City have been lived, famed with gorgeous mosaics, frescoes and wall paintings. One of the best preserved site in the Ephesus in which archeological works still continue.
4. The Basilica of Saint John
In early A.D, Evangelist St. John lived in the Ephesus in order to spread Christianity and collect more followers to the way of Jesus. And, according to many sources, he died around Ephesus after he returned from exile in Patmos. And, buried on the southern slope of Ayosolug Hill by his students. Roman Emperor Justinian constructed one of the biggest Basilicas of Christianity in the 4th Century A.D over the burial of St. Jean the Evangelist!
5. The Temple of Artemis
Artemis was the Greek goddess, the virginal huntress and twin of Apollo, who replaced the Titan Selene as Goddess of the Moon. The ancient temple was built around 650 BC to the cult of Artemis, was constructed on a site already sacred to the Anatolian Mother Goddess, Cybele. The temple was financed by the wealthy king of Lydia and the marshy ground was selected for the building site as a precaution against future earthquakes. During the time, it has been destroyed and collapsed many times due to the natural disasters.
6. Meryemana (The Virgin Mary's House)
If requested to visit the Mary's House, it is replaced with the Basilica of St.John.

This was an amazing trip and well worth it! We met our very knowledgeable tour guide, Dilek, right at the port when we got off the ship and she led us to our private transportation! She laid out the itinerary, but told us it could change to what we wanted! That was an amazing idea, since all the cruise ship options were very ridged, not to mention much more expensive. We got to see the Ephesus Ruins, House of the Virgin Mary, and the temple of Artemis! All along the way, our tour guide gave us a lot of information about the different places! We even asked to get lunch somewhere off the beaten bath away from most of the tour groups and she brought to just the place we were looking for. She even sat down with us to tell us everything that was brought out to us! When we were done, she made sure to get us back to the port with more than enough time before our ship left. I would definitely use this company if I ever came back to Kusadasi! You won’t regret booking these guys!

As I think back on our trip to Ephesus , I continue to reminisce about all the Biblical History that happened there. Seeing all the ruins of that city, where Paul had brought the gospel to the Ephesians, and to think that only 11% of the remains of the city have been excavated and realizing how large the city really was.
Isik took us on a tour, showing every detail of making carpets, even how the silk was taken out of the cocoons !The long months dedicated to just making one carpet.
Every experience was so amazing!

An excellent tour of Ephesus, the Temple of Artemis and Mary’s House. The transport was very comfortable and our guide, Ozzy, made it a great experience for our family, he was very friendly and gave us lots of information on the sites and about Turkey in general too. The included lunch was also delicious and it was great to have a private tour as Ephesus was quite crowded, we really enjoyed our day.

Ozzy gave us a great day. Spotted our name as we exited the ship in Kudasi port. Walked us to our van which was spacious and very comfortable. We saw Virgin Mary’s house, the Temple of Artemis, ruins of Ephesus including the undercover terrace houses area. We learnt a lot and went at our own pace. We also stopped for lunch and enjoyed a traditional Turkish mezze and main meal.

Ozzy took us through all of the sights and to a very nice local restaurant for a delicious lunch. He was very informative and tailored the tour for us. Highlights were the Virgin Mary’s House, Temple of Artemis and the library and terrace houses at Ephesus.

Isik was an excellent tour guide. She was very knowledgeable about the Ephesus ruins and gave us great insights into how the different peoples came to live in this living museum. We were thrilled to have her. She also was able to take us to a wonderful Turkish restaurant for a very tasty lunch of local cuisine.

This was defenetly better than the cruise excursions we had. The tour guide: Sergio, is so knowledgeable and keep you entertained. He told us details and histories that others do not take the time to do it. The tour was very organized and we felt welcome, safe and respected the whole time. You can ask him anything and he will respond and make recommendations if you need. So far, the best tour I have ever done.

The tour was magnificent, Sergen was very kind, reliable, and explained each point we visited very well. His knowledge is very extensive, and he also took great care to ensure we felt safe during our tour. The tour was private, in an air-conditioned car, and they offered us water throughout.
