The transfer from the hotel to the airport was booked and paid for, but no one picked us up. Repeated inquiries yielded no results. After calling a hotel employee, we were told that the transfer was not coming and that we should take a taxi. At our expense, of course. The taxi driver then really stepped on the gas so that we just about made the flight.

We requested a transfer to the airport on 23 September at 9am. Initially There was no direct contact from Travelium that the minibus was to be late except on messaging until I called the operator direct. The hotel staff helped us by communicating directly with the organiser after 1/2 hr being late. The car arrived over an hour late, apparently due to a flat tyre and replacement of the bus. We understand that can happen but a replacement should have been sent earlier seeing we were on our way to catch planes, some internationally.
The driver did not engage with us at all. He basically drove like a maniac, swerving erratically, changing lanes barely missing the other cars, honking his horn. Changing several lanes in an instant with no indication. We are seasoned travellers but truely felt our lives were at stake. No exaggeration.
He was asked to slow down to the point of us shouting to slow down in Turkish. With little effect.
I have travelled the world and in challenging traffic such as in Indonesia and India but this guy was a maniac and possibly on substances. We made a 45 min trip in no traffic in 33 mins in heavy traffic. Please pass this on to Travelium to address this with the driver. We will not use them again and advise Booking.com to not offer their service. Totally unacceptable.

I was so happy to have booked the service. Our driver was on time, spoke good English, kept us up to date on journey time and traffic to expect along the route.
A very clean minivan with water supplied.
Would highly recommend.

We have a group of 8 people and booked a minivan from Istanbul airport to the hotel round trip in late march. It was a great experience. They picked up on time and easy communication via WhatsApp. Great service for airport transportation.
