The falls are nice, Buddha is interesting to see but otherwise it just feels like a tourist trap. The guides encourage you to pay little kids to watch your shoes while you see Buddha ( we were told 1USD each when there was 8 of us), if you want to swim you have to pay to use the change rooms (1 USD each time) and when they take you to a restaurant for lunch it is very expensive. 5.75 USD for spring rolls, none of my group ate which made for awkward interaction with the restaurant staff

The trip was really interesting. The water was pretty disgusting and we all got rashes after swimming in it, but I consider it a once in a lifetime activity, so I would still recommend it :

We got down to the hotel lobby ready for the trip at 8:00am as advised. After multiple pick ups and changes of vans by the tour company we didn’t leave for Kulen Mountain until past 9:00am. There was no explanation as to what was going on either.

The drive was long and the tour guide never bothered to explain anything about what we saw even when asked. It felt more like a self directed tour. Never saw any wet towels, and we had to ask for water which wasn’t even in the ice box. What a vast difference to our tour earlier in the week.

For a lot of the time we were left standing around the street sellers. I felt like we were being held at the mercy of the tour guide all day and yet at the end of it he still felt okay to ask for a tip.

This is an amazing tour , one of our best so far.

The mountain and water falls are fantastic.

Bring a backpack and carry your shoes or be prepared to pay children who have watched them for you, while you walk around the mountain barefoot. Also, some places around the river we were charged to take photos.

There is a wet, slippery climb and lots of stairs so not for some not prepared for adventure

About an hour and a half drive from city.

Overpriced!!! 5 of us paid over $100 each for this and what we got was 4 hrs bumpy ride in a lousy van, which left us with just 2 hrs to spend at the waterfall and temple plus 1 hr lunch at a terrible restaurant. It's completely not value for money. The tour agency "Khmer Detours" earned like crazy!

This day trip is very interesting. We are the only 2 people for this day trip, so our tour guide is also the driver. This young boy is a very nice guy, he explained all information we needed and answered our questions, gave us as much water as needed, because the weather was very hot. We visited the temple and the big Buddha in the morning, and famous Linga river carving on the way, finished at waterfall. there is very few foreign visiter at this trip, we saw the local people's daily life and their activity.

We enjoyed very much this trip.

Great experience. The guide was very nice. He told me many interesting things. There was free water and lunch. Got to see the ancient capital and a giant Buddha statue. A memorable experience.

Something a little different and good to see some more of the Cambodian countryside. A bit of a drive but the waterfalls are beautiful and you stop to see the mountain top temple and the Linga riverbed sculptures along the way. Lunch was good and the tour concluded just after 2pm which was nice to allow for some down time.

There were only two of us booked in on this day so our driver doubled up as a guide. He did a reasonable job but I would not describe him as an expert guide as referred to in the description of the trip! He told us very little about the history of the mountain. We did very little hiking as also mentioned in the trip description - it was very touristy and not at all what we expected - we walked past many stalls selling souvenirs. We did not see the scene pictured in the photo above.Lunch was very good. I was also disappointed that when we booked, we were offered a 10 discount on the website and desoite contacting Viator by email when this discount was not applied heard nothing. We reckon we could have got better value by booking locally on arrival.
