Speyside Whisky Tour

David was an incredible driver and guide! Being that it was our first time in the Highlands, we didn’t quite know where to go, but David offered suggestions based off conversations we had. His suggestions were incredible! We went to Glen Moray, Glen Grant, Glenfiddich, GlenAllachie, Aberlour, Cardhu, and Cragganmore all in one day! David even brought carrots so that I could feed the Highland cows at Cardhu! We had a wonderful experience!

David was spectacular! He really elevated our experience. He is so unbelievably friendly and easy to talk to. He really made our day of Speyside Whisky tours memorable!

As a couple, we were spontaneously allowed to take part in this tour and were absolutely thrilled. David gave us a wonderful last day in Scotland and helped us with all our questions with his kindness and his broad knowledge. He was also very flexible in his tour, including spontaneous stops for photography. He showed us wonderful distilleries (Balblair, Clynelish), villages (Durnoch) and castles (Durnoch Castle). Plus a comfortable car and wonderful conversations. We can only warmly recommend the excursion and would like to repeat it.

David was amazing!!!! He made everything very easy for us, taking care of all of the details. He is very knowledgeable on whisky and many other local topics and was able to edit our itinerary on the fly. We had very easy conversation and his car is extremely comfortable! Overall we thoroughly enjoyed this day with David and would recommend him highly!

We had an amazing day. David was excellent. He took us to so many different distilleries and explained everything to us. David also added places to go and gave consideration to things we still wanted to see and didn’t have the opportunity to see. Again, it was a great day.

What a trip!

Dave is a sensational host. Completely open to whatever you're looking to do or see, nothing feels too much, the car is clean, comfortable and Dave a knowledgeable, friendly and funny host.

Knows the distilleries of Speyside (and the rest of Scotland) extremely well, as well as plenty of Scottish history for the general tourists.

Would recommend to anyone who wants to see the area around Inverness in comfort - be it for whisky, Highlander or general sightseeing.

Skip all the pre-planned whiskey day tours and book yourself a private customized Speyside whiskey tour. Communication from the start with David was great and he will give suggestions on what’s possible or not possible to visit within the day. Pick up is conveniently in front of your hotel.

I did the Balvenie Distillery tour and Glenfiddich distillery tour with a nice lunch at the glenfiddich whiskey lounge. (Note that it’s super hard to get a Balvenie tour booked which must be done in advance). In total it was about 6 hours of touring + lunch, and then there’s the drive to and from Inverness.

Very enjoyable day!

Our tour guide, David, was nothing short of exceptional. His knowledge of whisky is profound, and his passion for the craft was evident in every part of the tour. David went above and beyond to ensure that our experience was unforgettable. He not only provided insightful commentary at each distillery but also made us feel like valued guests every step of the way. Highly recommending this tour!
