Had an incredible time with my boyfriend on La Mesa's Bogota street food tour! It was such a unique experience, combining delicious Colombian foods like empanadas, fresh fruit, tamal, ajiaco, and arabica coffee with a walking tour of La Candelaria's landmarks and history. Lina, our guide, was amazing—super friendly, knowledgeable, and a true foodie! She even customized some food stops so we could try new dishes. Highly recommend this tour for a memorable and tasty adventure in Bogota!

My friend and I loved the tour ! The food was tasty, varied and gave us a good sense of Colombian food! We enjoyed walking along La Candelaria neighborhood and mostly we loved the historical perspective the tour guide Lina gave us. She studied history at one of the Universities downtown and was able to tell us amazing stories on why the city and the country. I highly recommend this for locals and foreigners alike !

We absolutely loved the street food tour. Lina was an amazing guide and told us a lot about the food, city, and country. She was warm and helped us understand the connection between the delicious food we tried and the culture. The tour was the perfect mix of walking, eating both street food and in cafes/restaurants/a market, and education. I would recommend it to anyone and will do it again myself next time I’m in Bogotá! We booked a Chapinero foodie dream tour , and it was amazing! Our guide , Sebastian, was very knowledgeable, and made every effort for us to enjoy the tour! The food and drinks were just out of this world!!! Highly recommend this tour for everyone!

Our Bogota Street Food tour with Lina was one of the highlights of our trip to Colombia! We visited 6 or 7 spots around the La Candelaria and tried different types of local cuisine, from fruits and juices to soup and fried snacks. Lina's knowledge of the different types of cuisine was top notch. We also learned a lot about the history of Bogota and culture of the area. What made this tour even more special was the personal connection we had with Lina.
We also did a food tour in Cartagena with Liz and it was equally as fantastic.
If you're going to Colombia, don't miss out on a food tour with La Mesa Food Tours!!

My spouse and I love traveling, and we really love eating, so we often look for food tours in new places. We have done several incredible culinary tours in various cities around the world, but I would have to say the Bogotá Street Food tour with our guide Sebastian has been the best one yet! He is a history buff with a ton of fascinating knowledge to share and a super cool dude. Even cooler was that he followed up after the tour with restaurant recommendations for later in the trip. He gave our tour in Spanish since we were on an immersion trip instead of the usual English, which was perfect. Lina took care of the booking and was very kind and easy to work with! The food was delicious, and we were quite full while sprinting up the street in the Candelaria after the tour to try to get out of the rain. I recommend you go hungry and bring an umbrella!
