Had a great time on the boat and snorkel excursion. The guide was helpful and had a great attitude. The kids (teenagers) even had a blast. The boats could use a bit of clean up, seats changed out ect. But they are used and abused daily I’m sure. Other than that , no real complaints. Others have complained about snorkels, masks, and much more… we have been to Cancun many times. For the price and time allotment of this excursion is was perfectly good and met expectations. I’d you’re wanting high end boats more snorkel time and other perks. Spend the money on other trips. Aqua world was overall a good experience for this excursion

When I booked this I thought it was going to be a simple "Disney" like ride ... oh was I wrong, and that is a good thing.
Pro: This is a real boat on open water. The water was rough that day which, in my opinion, made it a lot more fun. The guide was excellent, clear instruction, helpful and very friendly. The way he got people back into their boats after snorkeling, made my jaw drop ... pretty hilarious.
Con: No the boats don't have ladders and frankly, are a little beat up but they work just as well. The snorkeling was "ok," through no fault of the guide. As I said the waters were a little on the choppy side which made it difficult to swim and navigate the reef.
The transportation back to the resort was bit of a nightmare. We were told by the resort it was set up through Jungle tour which is the only reason I included it. The driver picked us up. pulled across the street into a parking lot, then got out of the van and left us and another couple in the van for 45 minutes with no communication as to why we were there or what was happening. Left a bad taste in our mouths after a somewhat fun day. Frankly I was tempted to give this a 3 or even 2 star review due to the transportation issue. But in the end it was the actual excursion that was important.
All in all a good excursion and worth the money.

They took our $ we didn't go to the excursion they left us and didn't issue us a refund. Very unprofessional.

Good value for the money. It’s essentially follow me to a reef while you drive your own boat. The snorkeling is similar; here’s your gear, go snorkeling. Follow me back to the dock. If you’ve never drove a boat or went snorkeling you’ll probably love it, otherwise it’s an average experience. They want to charge $20 per picture, $50 for all the pictures, or $60 all the pictures plus drone video - fyi.

This was our favorite Cancun excursion even though the snorkeling portion was cancelled due to weather. The speedboats are so much fun, and you get a totally novel view of the Hotel Zone and some surrounding mangroves.

We had an awesome time. The speedboats were easy to navigate and we had a great time on the water seeing a lot of fish. We also got to do tequila tasting when we got back for free !

Jungle Tours was Amazing!! Highly recommend! We went as a family group of 8 and did the Speedboat - Snorkeling - got to see the Underwater Museum. Jimmy our tour guide was funny and very helpful!!

Amazing tour. The boat was very easy to use as a first timer. An exhilarating experience. The snorkeling was fun too. Make sure to apply strong sun screen all over though as the boating really increases UV exposure. Very highly recommended.

My mom and I loved our trip! It was easy to find and went smoothly. We loved how you get your own speed boat and can explore the reefs wherever you please. They took beautiful pictures that you have the option to purchase at the end of the trip. I would come back next time I’m in Cancun!
