• Historical attractions in Malacca are visiting the St. Paul's Church is the oldest church in Southeast Asia formerly a church for the Portuguese and later a cemetery during the Dutch occupation.
• The nearby sight Porta de Santiago was once built by the Portuguese as a fortress to protect against attacks by the Dutch. There is not much left after several wars, but the entrance is still upright and in place.
• The Dutch governor had the Stadthuys(Dutch Square) built, a beautiful building with some obvious Dutch traits.
• Christ Church, in which you can recognize the Dutch architecture of that time more clearly.
• Jonker Street is the artistic center of Malacca. Here you will find a large number of art galleries, antique stores and shops where you can buy various ornaments.

Was a fun day with interest stories by Johnson, the tour guide of the day. Very helpful and always reminding us when or where to meet so the whole journey was smooth.

It's a good tour that takes you from Kuala Lumpur to see the main areas in one day. The guide (Mr. Johnson) was very kind and explained everything to us in detail. The restaurants we stopped at along the way were delicious and we had a great time! You can participate safely without stopping at souvenir shops.

Today had my first daytrip tour to visit Malacca with tour guide Johnson. He's very good in explaining the detail for the tour and friendly. Today is a rainy day, however the trips still continue well.

We did a private day tour. Arriving at Malacca our driver asked if we wanted to go on a river cruise at additional cost. We weren't expecting this as it was not on the itinerary and declined. He then walked with us to the main square and suggested we take a tour by rickshaw, again at additional cost. We were told that this is what most people do so we agreed. There was not much to see and would probably be more interesting in the evening when the restaurants by the river are open.
Overall the trip was very disappointing and not worth the two hour drive from KL. As we left early our driver took us to some other places in KL that we had not visited.

The city was amazing so much to see and so beautiful, I wish I had more time to stay here...
Booking the tour with Johnson made it even better, his knowledge of the city and his nice personality made this trip unforgettable.
You can't leave Malaysia before you go into this tour, you won't regret!!!

The tour was a good combination of walking tour with guide but you also had free time. The lunch was great. A sit down meal with 7 local dishes. It was very nice. Douglas was a great guide.

It was just an amazing experience, the city is magnificent with so much history and our tour guide Mr. Johnson was so informative so I got to learn so much about Malaysia's ancient history. The streets are so colourful and filled with so many religions monuments from every religion which was so interesting. People are so kind and helpful.
