The Swan Boats at Echo Park Lake are one of Los Angeles’ hidden gems. Don’t miss this unique way to explore Echo Lake signature lotus beds and fountain. All of our boats come equipped with shaded canopies for maximum comfort. Our large swan boats feature a roomy back seat for those that would like to forego pedaling and would prefer to just enjoy the view.
You are welcome to bring food and drinks on board the swan boats (no alcohol is permitted). There is also Beacon Cafe on-site which boasts an awesome food menu and desserts, and has seating that overlooks the lake.

Really cute and fun experience for me and my partner! I highly recommend going at night, the Swan boats all have lights and they're easy to pedal & steer.

It was fun! Since it was on Father’s Day weekend, it was crowded but the line was well managed and organized. We were thankful we arrived early to enjoy the whole hour. Great view of the lake, a good workout on the legs but we also had some quiet moments to enjoy the atmosphere.

Pros: Beautiful lake. It was easy to check in. One hour is plenty of time to enjoy the experience.
Cons: It was a bit crowded in the lake, learning to control the boat took some time, and parking was very difficult to find.

Once you get moving it's nice to coast on the water. The fountain sprayed us a bit, which I enjoyed.
An hour is more than enough for this experience.

It was my frst time doing swan boating with my kids and it was so much fun! Love the water fountains! Just don't get too close so you won't get wet. There was 4 of us in one boat and can take turns in paddling. It was tiring but also good exercise for the legs.
