Geishas are important part of japanese culture. In this event, you will enter the house, where some of such ladies live their daily life and you will see one of them preparing the make up, while another one will explain more about it. You will have a chance to ask what you were wondering, about their life, training, performance and so on. For those, interested in geishas and/or makeup related topics, it is a good opportunity to talk with them and see not only the white, professional face, but also the woman behind it.
After geisha was ready with her makeup (this part took about an hour), we went to nearby bar to enjoy some time together with both geishas (reserve more time if you want to do this as well). We also had the chance to take pictures with them in front of nearby temple, that added to the experience.

We really enjoyed getting to see how a young geisha gets ready. Its far more inreicate than we thought.
Time went way over the noted hour (hopefully that gets corrected for the next guest).
Wish there was some more dialogue or interactive pieces while we were viewing to learn more about the process and culture. Happy we booked it.
