I expected this tour to be predominantly children and was pleasantly surprised that it was 75% adults (read: I didn't feel as guilty about wanting to gorge on chocolate at 12:30 in the afternoon!). Our tour guide was Bianca, and she was simply delightful. Cheerful, engaging, informative, and funny. We learned a great deal about the entire process, from harvesting the cocoa beans to making chocolate. I had no idea how many different tasting notes there could be in chocolate just based on where the bean was grown. Truly fascinating. Making our own chocolates (I chose dark chocolate w/ chili, caramel and salt) was a lot of fun. This is great way to spend an afternoon for both young and old alike. If you like chocolate, you'll love this experience.

From the moment we arrived to the very end, we had a great time. Our guide was so enthusiastic and made every aspect of the tour fun and enjoyable, with interesting facts, and a great sense of humour. This is a great experience if you enjoy history and "how things work", like myself, as well as tasting chocolate of course! We sampled so much different chocolate, which was fantastic, and even got to make our own bar of chocolate, with a choice between milk and dark, lots of toppings and a mould. At the end, we explored the gift shop and bought our favourite flavours that we tried earlier on, before we were thanked and left the tour. From start to finish, a lovely experience. Thanks so much and we will definitely recommend the tour to others!

Oh. My. God. So much chocolate. Thank you so.much for the history lesson and vast array of cocoa uses and chocolate variations. My 16, 10 and 9 yr old daughters loved every second of it. And of course then there was the sampling and taste testing.... loved it!
