Guided tour of the historic city center.
On this tour you will be introduced to Rio de Janeiro within its historical context. Focusing on architecture and multicultural traditions, which define a unique way of being and living the "carioca".
We will walk towards the knowledge and traditions of the City. We will visit squares, churches, and historic sites. There will be the possibility of stopping for lunch, which is not included in the price of the tour. You will spend a maximum of 10 USD per person. We will pass by souvenir shops where the purchase will be optional.
We will wait for you for this adventure through the streets of Rio de Janeiro.

Lucemir was an amazing and energetic tour guide! He went well above and beyond. The tour was wonderful, entertaining, and safe. Lucemir even takes lots of professional photos along the way. Everyone who visits Rio should experience this.

The tour guide was a little late to the meeting point due to the carnival parades. However, he was aware but did not inform the customers prior that a lot of the historic locations will be closed. He was quite abrasive in his mannerism and communications with the tour group throughout the trip. Moreover, when the three hour mark passed for the tour, and we asked politely what other things we will be seeing as we had other plans after, his response was “you are not my prisoners.” He was making a big fuss over everyone paying an extra R$ 10 “exact” change to buy a tram pass - and also did not tell people in advance to bring it with them - and for some reason did not let us use the credit card machine. All in a bizarre tour that did not cover a lot of the historic sites, with an ill-mannered tour guide who was not accurate in some of the historical facts he shared. He could have also toned down on antics such as showing the taser he carried with him and the elaborate details of the crime activities in Rio during the carnival. :(

Lucemir gave an excellent tour! He is very knowledgeable about Rio and its history. We didn't get to finish because my wife didn't feel well but I would like to finish the tour and recommend it to others.

We did a walking tour of Downtown Rio to with Lucemir. The tour covers multiple places of historical and cultural interests. The landmarks and monuments, dating back from more than 100 years to more recent ones, showcase the evolution of Rio as a city. Lucemir has deep knowledge not just about Brazilian history and culture, but also about rest of the world. He's also flexible to accommodate the client requests, so that we can spend more time in places that are of our interest. Above all, he's a great photographer. Would highly recommend this tour for anyone who's interested in a cultural immersion of Rio.

I enjoyed every second of my experience with this tour. It was full of knowledge and personable. I recommend this tour for anyone who wants a deeper look to Rio, to also see places and things not commonly advertised. The tour guide knew a lot of people, which… let’s just say I didn’t have to wait in line like most people. But it was a long but pleasant walk around Rio. The tour guide also took photos of me at every location we stopped at, which was very nice.

Lucemir is an enthusiastic tour guide who guided my wife and me through the popular attractions in Rio de Janeiro. In addition to his guiding skills, he is an experienced photographer. Utilizing both his camera and our mobile phone, he helped us capture many memorable photos. We are very grateful to Lucemir.
