WHAT TO EXPECT

1. Jinvali Water Reservoir
At 9:00am I will pick you up at your hotel in Tbilisi. The route will take over the Georgian Military Highway up North towards the border with Russia. Your first stop will be at Ananuri complex a former residence of Argveti Dukes. Complex featuring churches and towers dating back to the XVI-XVII cc. is beautifully overlooking Jinvali reservoir. Continue our drive to see the conjunction of two small mountain rivers famous for the fact that being different in color they still keep their own colors even after merge. We will then drive over the Cross pass and make a short stop at Soviet time “People’s Friendship” mountain view point overlooking a deep gorge of Caucasus mountain range. In Kazbegi , we will continue the way to Gergeti Holy Trinity Church located on altitude of 2170 m, and enjoy breathtaking views of glacier Kazbegi. after walking you will be hungry, so we can visit Rooms hotels restaurant, which is an amazing spot in kazbegi. back to Tbilisi.

This was a great tour for me to see the countryside of Georgia. My guide, Giorgio (George) was proficient in English, professional and informed. The side excursion of paragliding in Gudauri added to the excitement of the tour.

Our guide was tony on this tour, he is such a wonderful guy and was quite accommodating as we were traveling with a toddler, he also bonded with our toddler and we were so comfortable with him that hired him for our drive to kutaisi for the next day.
On our tour to kazbegi, he really guided us well, took the tour on our pace and also briefed us over the history attached to each of the site we visited and each of the city we passed by, our final stop was at gergetti. Would definitely recommend him and also would love to hire him for if we travel again.

Absolutely stunning place to visit and the itinerary for the day trip was perfect. We had booked the private tour but asked last minute to add two more. We agreed but we would have enjoyed this trip a lot more as private. You can see sites at your own pace and go as slow or as quick as you want. Because of the added people we also didn’t stop at the same lunch place so that was a bit of a bummer. Overall would recommend the trip and our guide James was excellent

Amazing trip with Akaki!

I went with my wife my father and my 2 young children 3 years old and 1 years old.

Akaki was very knowledgeable about the sights and we saw amazing Mountain View’s.

He was extremely accommodating of our children and was overall a really top guy!
