Wonderful experience visiting Kotor for the day - loved the fact that everything was taken care of, with clear instructions on meeting times & a great local tour guide in Kotor old town
Border crossing wasn’t too bad either: 40min at the border both ways
Best part of the tour was Kotor old town & lunch at an old Venetian mansion converted to a restaurant (Perast & Lady of the Rock island were alright).

Amazing scenery, comprehensive scheduling and a really great guide. Lots of people (and cruise ships) visit these sites, so it can be very crowded.

Quite disappointed by this visit to Montenegro, firstly the tourist office indicated a travel agency to me first upon returning to the old town where it seems to me that I paid very dearly for my excursion (80 euros) the person certified to me that I would be back by 6 p.m. because I had organized a sunset trip in a galleon. It was very hot and the air conditioning in the bus worked very poorly. We then waited a good hour at customs and in the evening when we returned we waited another hour and a half. As a result we arrived at 7:15 p.m. and I missed my sea trip.

Although an early start and a long day, I would highly recommend this tour. Our guide was lovely and informative. The boat ride was very scenic. Visiting Montenegro and strolling around was a highlight.

Group tour with a fun and wacky guide on the bus! A lot of history from the city guide in Kotor only a little hard to hear as she didn't have a microphone and the school kids graduated so they were celebrating in the streets. Kotor is a big cruise ship stop, so it was full of tourists. We enjoyed Perast and our boat ride to the Lady of the Rock. Don't forget your passport and don't forget to give it to the bus driver!

Received written confirmation / instruction on pick up point, but no bus showed up….i then got a call asking “Where are you? …We are all waiting for you”. It turned out that the booking agent had FORGOTTEN to let the bus / tour operator where we were! So we had to then be collected in a Taxi and follow / catch up with our bus (chase after it because by then it had left without us). When eventually getting on the bus we received dirty looks and snide remarks from passengers saying that WE were late and caused them to be delayed (even though they weren’t aware it was certainly not our fault whatsoever).

During the journey we were asked to “pay city tax in cash”….that was something that we were not made aware of prior to the trip (otherwise we’d have brought cash)!

When we eventually got to our destination there was lots of faffing around and delays because the bus couldn’t park, so we had to get dumped off in a random spot and walk quite a long way, to then meet a city tour guide (who nobody could hear - because she spoke so quietly)….hence the city tour was a complete waste of time due to not hearing any commentary.

Next, when returning to the bus, several ‘passengers’ had decided to change seats (from their original seats) which caused numerous squabbles and almost a fight at the back.

The boat trip to the island was dangerously over-crowded (a serious safety matter), which meant some passengers didn’t get seats and therefore had to sit on the outside / front (bow) of the boat without wearing any life jackets!

All the time, during the boat journey the very young and unprofessional tour guide was so busy flirting and laughing with the ships captain (seemingly looking for her next ****?) that she had forgotten to give the passengers any commentary about what we were supposed to be seeing.

Also during the return bus journey, she stood right next to the driver, distracting him by her excessive talking and laughing.
