The group had 20 people- which I swore the tour was listed as “semi-private” with max of 12. Also we showed up 30 minutes early to check in- thankfully! Since when we arrived they told us we “made it just in time since they were starting early”. But the tour itself was great - just the right length for our teenagers.

Did the Colloseum tour today, our guide was Teddy. His knowledge and explanations were fantastic. Learned so much and the experience was wonderful. Would highly recommend.

Forum and paletine hill was not included with guide. The tickets were given to us to find our way solo. And the colosseum part was so-so.

This was not a semi private tour.. close to 30 people or so. The tour lasted less than an hour. This was not at all as advertised and not worth the money. Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum were to be included in the price… they told us at the end of touring the Colluseum ..times of when we could do the tours of Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum the next day… not ideal and chose to forego this as we already had plans… for the next day. No tickets were given just times. Entire family was disappointed in the tour for the money spent. Asked for a refund was denied … didn’t even provide a partial refund. The tour description given and what was provided was not accurate. The cost of the tour was not in balance with the tour provided. Incredibly disappointed, was supposed to be a memorable experience …was but for the wrong reasons.

This is a complete scam, showed up at 3pm and was denied the tour. Told me to come back at 5.. denied again. The tours are 40+ people, not 12. Viator is letting companies blatantly lie and steal your money with no support.

Booked semi private for more personalized experience. Description read 12 people or less and we were over 40 people . Requested a refund and they denied it. Reason of denying request was “what did you expect”

This was not at all semi private and we paid a premium to have less than 12 people in the group. We were 42 people!!!!!!!!!! Although the tour guide tried to do his best it was chaotic. Do not book this if you are looking for small group tour. They kept adding people as the tour went on

They advertise this as a semi private tour of 12 people and instead they took 32 of us. Couldn’t even see the guide some of the time and the tour lasted less than 60min. Sure we learned a few things while getting through the security lines and walking up the steps. Compared to the Vatican semi private tour that we booked with the Roman Tour Guy (which was actually small as promised and super educational), this Colosseum one was a waste. Wouldn’t go through this company again.
