I came with my GF and we learned a bit about sailing. Can sort of be a bit of a sailing lesson if you're interested in that, or I think James is happy to sail for you if you don't want that.

Perfect, low key afternoon sailing around San Juan Bay. The Captain Jimbo is full of stories and Puerto Rican history. The boat was built in the late 60s and shows its age, but it definitely has charm. And most importantly, this was actual sailing with sails. We weren't just motoring around. Would recommend for anyone just wanting to get out on the water and relax. My family was nervous it may be too rough or they'd get motion sickness, and they had the best time.

Our small group had a great time with Captain Jimbo. The experience was exactly what I wanted, a monohull sailing vessel so we could feel the power of the wind as it heeled over (leaned to the side as a result of pressure on the sales). This is not your typical, over-crowded large catamaran party boat experience.
Jimbo was very responsive leading up to our booking and on the day ensured we met our cruise departure time. The dock is a quick 7min taxi/Uber from the cruise port.

This was truly an experience of a lifetime. Jimbo as our cabin, dinner was such a delight. Between making us feel like family and giving us the full on ceiling experience in the evening during the sunset was remarkable. If I could, I would be Jimbo’s first mate! I highly recommend this for everyone, especially couples!

What an amazing adventure for my son. Captain Jimbo was such an impressive guide. From the moment we stepped on the boat we knew we were in for a safe, fun and informative trip. For 3 hours we learned a lot about San Juan as well as my son learning to basics of sailing. He enjoyed it so much he now wants sailing lessons when we head home. Captain Jimbo caters the trip to your needs. He lets you ask him questions and points of things of interest but lets you take the lead. Honestly if you only do one thing during your time in San Juan be sure to book this private sailing experience.
We had booked with another provider on viator despite some of their less than stellar reviews. Fortunately for us that provider cancelled the night before. So it was serendipitous for us to find Captain Jimbo.
