Helen provided an enjoyable and educational tour of Medoc Chateaus and wine tastings. The group broke for lunch at a nice restaurant in Pauillac. I highly recommend this tour.

Good not great. We had a very good time and learned a lot but we only tried a very small amount of wine for the price. The driver/tour guide was very nice, knowledgeable and professional. However he had very little energy and enthusiasm.
The region is beautiful and definitely worth exploring if you are a wine enthusiast. The wines were fantastic.
I don’t regret it at all for the price but it could have been better overall.

Justine did an excellent job of melding the small group together into a talkative bunch with simple questions for people to answer through to a fun testing of smells for red wine as the tour drew to a close. Three chateaux created a contrast, but all were "rooted" in cabernet sauvignon-dominant offerings at tastings, although several of the wines between the three actually had greater amounts of merlot, which was a surprise. Pauillac was surprising small and fun for lunch.

Disappointed that the guide was distracted by one guest who largely monopolised her time with detailed questions of his own beyond the interest level of the other 7.

All 3 winery visits and wine tastings were interesting and very different. Our guide was wonderful. We had gone on a wine tasting two days before so I was a bit afraid this would just be more of the same. But it was not. It was unique and fun. We even played a wine game in the van on the way back. It was a great day.

Giving this excursion a two and that’s being generous. The lady was overall nice and helpful but this tour was such a disappointment and overpriced. You start by meeting your tour guide and she drives you to the wineries which takes about two hours. During the first winery the lady that worked there talked for over an hour and you tasted two glasses of wine. My pour wasn’t even a tasting pour. She said she had multiple people coming that day so I guess she was trying to utilize the whole bottle. You then go to a town for lunch and spend two hours there. Nothing really in the town and a waste of time. Around 2pm you go to the last two wineries. Three tasting at each. I will say the last two were better than the first , however for that price a glass and a half of wine is robbery for the tasting. Also such a waste of a day to spend most time in the car and in a slow town. I don’t recommend.

Hugo was the best host! The tour was interesting and varied, the group was 6ppl, and we all got on well. We had nice personalised attention at the wineries/chateau and overall a great experience. (We come from wine country so we have some relevant knowledge)
