Peter has a lot of knowledge about the Naschmarkt and its history. He tells stories in a very interesting and varied way and we never got bored.
The different samples were very well chosen and he was able to tell us something about each dish.
A really successful trip.

We booked the culinary walk through MyDays. The meeting point was easy to find and we learned a lot about the Naschmarkt. At many stations there was something to try that we didn't expect. There was also the opportunity to buy lots of tasty treats on the tour through the market. A short stop also made it possible to have a glass of wine/beer etc. It was really a lot of fun spending the 2.5 hours at the market. We would definitely recommend it to anyone because Erika is super nice.

Peter was very good. He gave a thorough review of the place and had great food suggestions for other parts of the city as well.

I booked. Paid over £200 for the tour, then got rang by the company running it (after place confirmed) offering a less good tour at a different time. I cancelled, asked for a rebate, but today my account has been debitted the full amount, and nothing rebates. Wholly unreliable. I was told it was a mistake by the operator the tour was offered, but if so little effort has yet been made to repay. Utterly disgraceful.

The food tour was interesting and our guide was very knowledgeable about the food and the history of the market. However, we both would have preferred a tour which focussed more on the key foods of Vienna, such as charcuteries and beef, rather than middle eastern foods. It was quite expensive but a fun way to spend a couple of hours in a new city!

I loved Peter's tour of the Naschmarkt. His enthusiasm and love of food was plain from the first moment, which really made the tour an absolute delight. We got to sample some great food on our walk through the market and hear some great anecdotes (I particularly loved the one about the mulberries and the drunk chickens - all while getting to sample some delicious mulberry juice!). I would recommend Peter's tour to anyone!

We did this on our second day in Vienna and enjoyed every bit. There was only our group of two and the tour guide was great, just wish we could remember her name, but connected to Peter's tour. We tasted many treats, including spices, cheese, meats and met a number of the stall holders and learnt many things we weren't aware of. If you are interested in food this tour is well worth it.

I enjoyed the tour. Our tour guide was friendly and offered us a lot of history and cooking tips.
