This full day Domata Agios Pavlos boat trip offers you unique views and access to some of the most secluded and remote beaches along southwest Crete.
Most of the places you visit during the day have no road access and are only accessible by boat or on foot!

Starting in Chora Sfakion (or Loutro), we set off for the furthest beaches of the day, Domata, Fournoti and Kalogeros. The distant view of Crete from the boat enables us to take in the island´s majestic high peaks and imposing gorges that plummet into the deep blue sea.
With a 99% chance of there being nobody else on the beach, we enjoy an undisturbed swim. From then on, we travel back along the coastline stopping at any remote beach we fancy! We visit the Byzantine chapel of Agios Pavlos on its deserted beach and stop for lunch at the marble beach of Marmara or at the picturesque fishing village of Loutro. Finally we have a last swim at the refreshing Sweet Water (Glyka Nera) beach before returning to Sfakia.

WHAT TO EXPECT

2. Agia Roumeli
The village has several hotels and a few rooms for rent and also some tavernas. Agia Roumeli has a large beach and a ferry slipway where the ferry to and from Hora Sfakion via Loutro, arrives, mainly used by walkers who have completed the Samaria walk. The village is not accessible by road.
3. Agios Pavlos Beach
From then on, we travel back along the coastline stopping at any remote beach we fancy! We visit the Byzantine chapel of Agios Pavlos on its deserted beach, which the trees are right next to the beach !
4. Marmara Beach
Marmara beach is located in a small bay at the exit of the gorge of Aradena. Its remoteness, spectacular surroundings, clear water and sea caves nearby have attracted people to it for many years. Usually we make a stop for lunch since the taverna is one of the mast try in Sfakia ! After lunch we might swim also at the amazing caves that are next to the beach
5. Loutro
Loutro, the hidden Paradise on the south #chania, the little village is built right “on the sea”, and the most exciting, you could get there only by boat The village was a famous trading port from the ancient times, as Cristoforo Buondelmonti has mentioned on his book ‘Descriptio Insule Crete’ in 1415 while he was exploring Crete he has seen many ancient finds. “Many where used still as building material for the existing house”!
6. Glika Nera Beach
''Glika nera'' Sweat Water Beach, is our next stop that we will relax and take off the most of salt that we have on our bodies, since there are many underwater springs that makes the water cooller than the previous ones !

our last stop will be at Illigas beach with its little beach bar for a last Coctail before heading back to the port !

We really enjoyed the trip, everything was absolutely perfect and well organized.

We really thank Notos Mare for the trip, it was one of the best days in Crete!

Also big big big thanks for the Captain Elias (not sure if the name is spelled correctly) he is truly one of the best! Thanks for the good recommendation about the food. We loved it!

We will definitely come back next year for another Tour!

Perfect experience of boat rental !
The boat was easy to drive, the sea and spots were beautiful. Clear presentation of the basics and very kind people..

From the beginning when we booked the service, then when we arrived at the port (sorry I do not remember the name of the gentlewoman that took care of us), and then, the wonderful trip with Stefanos (thanks a lot Stefanos for the beautiful explanations). They built for us an unforgettable journey.

Our Captain was amazing Lefteiro brought us to so many amazing places.
We stopped for lunch in marmara (didn't spell correctly) and to many other beach that we had the opportunity to swim to shore, explore and back to the boat.

Our family of six had a fantastic experience in South Crete with Notosmare and Roland, our skipper. He was very informative and accommodating. The boat was clean and safe. And the water, beaches, and landscape were spectacular. Highly recommended.

Super professional and well-run boat hire business. Naturally, this does not come cheap but staff are amazingly helpful and could not give more to make your trip a massive success.

The true winner is the location that they offer their services – The South coastline of Crete is one of the most spectacular places to visit – yet the restaurants still have that classic family charm and rustic brilliance Crete is renowned for. This trip will stay with you for years after you hand the boat back.
