This tour will take you to the Rose Hall Great House, one of Montego Bay's most popular great houses. The tour will start with pick up at your Montego Bay hotel. The guided house tour lasts 2 hours however, you can also go on the optional shopping portion which will take you to the Montego Bay "Hip-Strip" for duty-free and craft shopping.

Great tour. Gift shop is tiny and with the volume of people in and out, it can be rather arduous. Recommend to get your souvenir photo outside then enter, or if you are inside first, when checking out let the cashier know you want the photo. Why? They charge you inside for the photo. IF you don't do it one of the above ways, you will soon realize why I gave suggestions.
History of the plantation was amazing. The house is beautiful......

My adult daughter and I toured Rose Hall Great House with VIP Tours (day tour) and it was a wonderful experience. We basically had the house to ourselves for at least a half hour. The guide was thoughtful and well versed in the historical background of Rose Hall. If you are afraid of ghosts, you might not want to tour but we loved it and would love to do it again, at night.

This is a very neat place to visit and learn some Jamaican history at the same time. The only bad part, if you want to call it that, is that you cant just wander around and look at all the rooms in the house again once your tour is complete. I wanted to walk it all over again to see more than I did the first time thru, to really pay attention to the architecture, furnishings etc. The entry fee seems a bit much for the short visit but the history is awesome. The gift shop lacks a lot of personality as it is mostly just basic Jamaican tourist "stuff", some of which was so old it was faded. Keep your money for somewhere else.
